Once they got to New Jersey JD was waiting for them at the airport. The door opened and Criss got out first as Molly, Krystyn and Spencer followed. "I see you made it". Everyone went quiet as Criss, Spencer and Krystyn got in but Molly looked at JD. "JD why isn't Criss taking it easy I'm surprise Criss's heart didn't quit with that ride" she remarked. JD sighed. "Molly, when my father was diagnosed with cancer they gave him three months instead he lived for three year maybe Criss thinks he can live longer".
"I don't think so I would give Criss a few weeks maybe less" she replied and got in. At the hotel Criss was laying down as JD walked in. "How did you get in?" Criss inquired when he saw his brother knowing he had locked the door . "I asked for a key just in case," he remarked as JD pulled up a chair. "Listen I honestly think you should stay here and let the others deal with the water torture escape tomorrow". Not this again Criss thought . Criss got up and looked outside.
"I can't" he replied. "Criss why are you doing this to yourself you know your heart is going to fail the only question is when". He turned to his brother. "DON'T YOU THINK I KNOW THAT,!!" Criss exclaimed. "Everyone keeps reminding me that my heart is failing. I have to prove to myself I can make it even I die-". Criss couldn't hold it in anymore he collapsed to the floor and started to cry. JD went over to him, sat next to him and hugged his baby brother. "It's all right Christopher just let it out"JD said.
That night JD went to have dinner with his mother. He met his mother at a restaurant the whole family loves. "Hey mom" he said giving her a kiss on the check. "Where's Christopher I thought he was joining us". "He's at the hotel mom it finally hit him like a bulldozer that he's dying and there's nothing but a heart transplant that could save him. Criss even told me where his will is" trying not to let his guard down. "I know Dimi called me last night worrying about her uncle. She's the only one in the family excluding your father who has his blood type".
"The doctor told me in confident that Criss had better odds of winning a jackpot minus his gift than finding a heart for him" wiping a tear from his eye. They both went quiet thinking if Criss would get a heart transplant or end up being buried next to his father.
