Chapter six

A/N: So I'm a little disappointed in you people. Last chapter I asked you guys to push me to update if I didn't do it next week, and I know people read the chapter. Sarah's POV

As I came to I noticed I was laying on a soft, plush sofa of some kind.

I was about to groan in pain until I heard voices talking.

"She really seems to not be the one we're looking for." a deep voice said.

"Whether or not we think she's the one is irrelevant. We have to follow our orders or it'll be our heads!" a shrill voice replied. 

"Yeah yeah, I know, it's just if we messed up and didn't get the one, then that'll also be our heads!" 

"True true, so if she's not the one then either way we're dea-"

I couldn't take it anymore, my head was pounding and my muscles were incredibly sore.

I groaned loudly and started to sit up.

I pried my eyes open and stared into the face of what looked like a wispy, ghost-like creature.

I tried to scream and jump away but I soon realized that I couldn't move at all.

"You came to your senses faster than I thought possible." the creature said in its high voice.

I tried to break whatever hold this creature had on me, but I couldn't move at all.

Suddenly the deep voice cut in.

"Release her Megara, or the boss will get mad."

The creature, Megara apparently, moved back and closed her eyes.

I could move once more and I took that opportunity to jump over the side of the couch and start to look for a way out of the room.

I was obviously having a delusion of some sort, but it was clear that I had been kidnapped.

I opened my mouth to scream for help, but then I ran smack into what seemed like a stone wall.

I fell to the ground as darkness clouded my vision. Before I lost consciousness once more I heard the shrill voice say "Well now you've done it....."

Jake's POV

As I glanced around the lunchroom I wondered where Sarah was at.

'I don't think she's the type to skip lunch...'  

I picked up my burger and was about to take a bite when I saw fingers snapping in front of my face.

"Duddddeee?! Are you even listening?" Tyler said.

I lowered my burger and felt heat rise to my cheeks.

"..No..." 

Tyler rolled his eyes and dramatically said to the rest of the table "I thought not. You're too busy thinking about the new chick at school to give a damn about what the most amazing, talented, and smartest person in the universe is talking about."

"Sorry...." I said.

Tyler huffed "You had better be, now back to what I was saying..."

To be honest, I really didn't give a damn about what Tyler was saying at the moment. I really was too busy thinking about Sarah.
