She's your Assistant

Athena's POV
Professor Epps starred at me. I knew he never knew who I was and it didn't offend me in anyway. "Wait your that girl I bumped into at the college today." Colby said smiling. I laughed remembering him now. "Please call me Charlie." Professor Epps said. I smiled at him and nodded.
After dinner people started to leave and I was happy to be working with such an amazing team. "Agent Quin may I speak to you?" Charlie asked walking up to me. "Please call me Athena and you may." Charlie nodded and waved me to follow him. We walked up the stairs to an attic that had chalkboards filled with math works. " Sorry if this seems odd for me asking,but is this all your work?" I asked looking in awe at the math problems. " Yes. Um Athena How long have you been my student?" I looked up at him since he moved closer to me. "Going on a year, why do you ask?" I wondered. He looked down at me. "Your finishing all the work I give you before class is finished." He said. I blush and look anywhere,but him. I was so in love with his work that it seemed to show how easy it was for me. " Yes I actually find it easy only because I study everything you write on the bored." I admitted biting my lip out of habit. Charlie smiled at the comment on his works. "Can I ask you something? " I laughed. "You just did." He chuckled. "Instead of listening to me lecture how about you become my assistant?" I was shocked by this and almost squeaked out of happiness. The great Professor Charlie Epps wanted me to be his assistant ! "I would be honored!" I tell him happily. He smiled and nodded. "You better get going its 12:00am." Charlie said looking at his watch. Oh gosh it was really late. "Your right and I have paperwork to fill out tomorrow." I tell him getting ready to leave. I spun on my heel to fast and slipped. I thought I would end up on the floor,but instead I was in a very awkward hugging position with Charlie. "Thanks" I mumble into his shirt. I didn't make any eye contact with him as I left the attic and said my goodbyes to Don and Alan. Oh Merlin that was embarrassing!
Charlie's POV
I stood in the same spot for a good 3 minutes. I wasn't sure of what just happened, I know that when Athena tripped I caught her, but it was when she was hugging me awkwardly around my stomach my mind seemed to of gone black. She mumbled thanks in my shirt causing the strangest sensation to erupt in my stomach and all over my body. Was I attracted to Athena? I mean she was a beautiful girl,but she was my student as well. This is going to be a rather interesting year. Plus she works with my brother now. I walked downstairs to find Don and dad talking. " She is your student?" Don asked. "She is and she's very smart your lucky to have her on your team." I tell him sitting in the chair across from his. "Just don't let anything happen to her." I told Don looking at my stack of graded exams. "She's my assistant now so we can't have her hurt or I might be out of the job because of the lack of grading." Don and dad both laugh and smile at me causing me to laugh with them.
