Chapter 13

Alli's POV

I look over to see Felix staring at his phone. Probably texting that girl. "What are you even still doing in my room?"

He looked at me and I could see his face getting red. He put his phone in my face showing me a message.

Wow.

All that furiousness and I was wrong.

"Please. Forgive me."

I nod my head yes.

"So what do you think about a date tonight?"

Literally a minute ago I was mad at him, now he wants a date?

Not knowing what to say, I settled with a yes.

We ended up going to the movies. We finally picked out Age of Adaline. We'd both already seen this movie, but sometimes they do repeats when a movie is popular. After 35 minutes of commercials, the movie started.

"Alli..."

"Yeah?"

"I'm sorry. I was being a jerk. And I shouldn't have let her do that."

Wow. I can tell how sorry he actually feels by the tears streaming from his eyes. I wrap my arms around him and hug him. He pulls away and kisses me. It felt different than before. After the movie we go to Bob Evans. I order the smiley face pancakes and sweet tea. I saw Felix laughing from the corner of my eye. "Pancakes? For dinner?"

"Yeah."

Then he too orders pancakes.

"And what to drink sir?" The waitress asks.

"Uhhhhbb..... orange juice."

We get our orders and just like that it was the perfect day.
