Peyton's POV:

"Be safe sweetie, get good grades, we'll see you on Thanksgiving!" My mom called behind me as i made my way to the dorm building. I looked back and smiled. I waved goodbye and they drove off. I believe they were going to Hawaii. I would too if i had no kids at the moment to take care of.

I turned around and walked up the stairs, picking up my suitcases to make it easier. i finally got to the top and entered the building. I opened the door and saw a lady sat behind the desk. From what i could tell i think she was the receptionist. i moved up to the desk and waited there for a second. I have been here for almost 5 minutes and she still hasn't noticed me. I rung the bell situated on her desk and she looked up and smiled. "Hey, I am guessing you are here for your room key?"

"Um yes, I also need the room number please." I replied. I shifted a little, "Peyton Williams." I have done this before so I knew exactly what to say. She turned back to her computer and typed something in. I saw my picture pop up on the screen. i hated it. She got up and took a key off of the wall.

"Here you go, your room is number 218 floor 3. Have a wonderful day." She said while smiling. i smiled back and picked up my suitcases walking toward the elevator.

After 10 minutes of looking i finally found my dorm. i was about to open the door, when i heard yelling from the other side of the door. Should i open the door? Maybe i should wait?

After a minute of debating, i finally got the courage to just walk in. I put my bags on the side of me and took the key out of my pocket. I moved the key into the keyhole, i heard a click signalling the the door unlocked. I took the key out and shoved it in my pocket. I opened the door seeing a girl who was about 5'3 a lot shorter than me, but i am freakishly tall. She had her brown hair up in pigtails. She was yelling at someone over the phone. She turned to me, her green eyes looked like they were glowing. She kept staring at me, after a few seconds she said said something to the person she was talking to and hung up. "Um, who are you?" The girl asked quite loudly and matter a factly rude.

"Peyton. Nice to meet you." I said extending my hand to shake it, but she immediately slapped it away.

She moved closer to me, right up in my face. "Listen hear Peyton, if you get anything on my side of the room or take anything. i will kill you." I'm scared. She turned around and skipped to the door. "Thanks." She said in a girly voice then shutting the door. I am totally freaked out.

I checked out the dorm a bit more. We had a mini fridge, a microwave, and a bathroom. other than that it was just the usual stuff 2 beds, 2 closets, and 2 desks. The college was much bigger than the other college was. The thing that bugged me was my roommate, is obviously a psycho and is a total slob. There is clothes and garbage literally everywhere on the side of her room. I layed on my bed and sighed. I am like a neat freak this is not going to do.

I the called Chris, my twin brother. He is the one that suggested I came here. I major in painting and composing my brother is a actor, and a good one at that.

He almost immediately answered the phone. "Hey!"

"Hi."

"Okay I'll start the conversation. What's up?"

"I need you to come to my dorm." I stated quietly.

"Why?"

"Building F, dorm 218, floor 3." I hung up. I knew if i talked to him any longer he would make up an excuse not to come. While i waited i set up my piano. I haven't played it or even touched an instrument, since it happened. i felt like i could play now, that no one would hurt me here. I played one of the first songs i ever played, Fix you by Coldplay. I sang as i played. "When you try your best but you don't succeed.
When you get what you want but not what you need.
When you feel so tired but you can't sleep.
Stuck in reverse-" My brother barged into the room.

"Why did you ever stop?" Chris asked sitting down on the bed next to me.

"So what do you want to do?" I said changing the subject. I got up from the bed and made sure i didn't step on my roommate's side. Is it sad i don't even know her name.

"This must be killing you." He stated pointing to the other side of the room.

"It is." I looked over at the other side of the room. Wishing that i could just clean all of it. At least at my other college my roommate was a very clean person also she was very much like me. "So want to go explore the campus?"

"Is there food involved?" He asked looking at me. I love him so much.

-------
As we were about to enter the dorm building. I found a bulletin board with apartments you can rent with other students that go here. Most of the people on the board looked sketchy other than two people.

Their names are Cameron Marie Kennedy and Haley Avalon James. They both are really pretty. Cameron is skinny with blonde hair and light brown eyes. Haley is also thin with brown hair and brown eyes. They looked really happy in the picture attached to the flier, like not one horrible thing has happened to them in their life unlike me. "Hey Chris do you know these people?" i asked him pointing to the picture

"Oh yeah i see them around campus a lot. They are both really hot especially the blonde." I gave him a 'are you kidding me look.' "From what i've seen they have a small group of friends and don't go to very many parties."

"They are probably cool people." I stated. I grabbed the number attached to the flier."Bye Chris." i started, walking into the dorm building. I soon reached the room and went in. Thankfully my roommate wasn't there. I took at quick shower and changed into pajamas. As i began to blow dry my long black hair. i looked at the number again. Deciding whether or not to call them. Knowing my antisocial self if i don't do it now i never will and then i will stuck with my roommate for the rest of the year. i grabbed my phone and dialed the number, "Hello?" A lady answered.

"Yeah um, i am calling about the apartment add."
