The metallic odor still crowded the dark and dingy room. The rain pounded down on the roof and the windows with their spider web like cracks. The wind howled and screeched at the stormy sky above. The smell was overwhelming, but it calmed her. She slowly dragged her fingers across the old walls humming to herself.
"I know you were dared to come hear." her soft voice echoed around the room. "They probably told you this place is haunted. They were right." Her voice floated and hing in the air as she drifted throughout the room. Her ghostly hair moved as if she were under water. Her slightly transparent fingers traced gently over your face. Moving closer as her crimson eyes flashed with an evil satisfaction; she was fully aware the you were scared witless. "I know you want my story, but my story can't be told until I tell Melissa's story." She breathed lightly against your cheek.
AN: Sorry that the prologue is so short! I hope you enjoyed it, I will try my best to update whenever I can.
