A/N: Age groups:
17: Dean, Castiel, Charlie, Meg,
16: Gabriel, Sam, Jess
18: Crowley and Balthazar (they're twins)
19: Michael and Lucifer
21: Raphael (he isn't mentioned very much)
Other characters will be mentioned, though the ages aren't that often.Castiel stood in front of the door, his eyes wide. His throat went dry and his voice didn't seem to want to speak anymore.
"Hey, I'm Dean." Dean smiled. "This here is my brother, Sammy-"
"It's Sam." Sam replied, glaring at his older brother.
"-and we just moved next door." Dean finished, not seeming startled at all to see Castiel. Does he even remember me? Castiel thought to himself.
"Uh, are you okay?" Dean asked, looking at him with those sparkling green eyes.
Just go with it. Castiel spoke up. "I... I'm Castiel." He replied quietly. He cleared his throat and spoke again. "I'm Castiel." He said, his voice working properly now.
"Hello Castiel, could we come in? Our dad said we should go meet some of our neighbors, since he has work..."
"Uh..." Let them in. The voice in his mind said. He doesn't remember you. It's okay. "S-Sure. Come on in." Castiel unlocked the screen door and opened it.
Dean and Sam walked in. "Wow, you have a nice house." Sam said, looking at the photographs on the white perfectly-clean walls.
"Yeah." Castiel motioned towards the back door. "Everyone else is out back." Castiel began walking towards the back door, Dean and Sam following closely behind.
Castiel could feel Dean behind him, and the hairs on his neck pricked up. He was suddenly reminded of it - the "accident" that had happened almost two years ago.
Castiel slid open the door and stepped through. "Hey guys!" he said, trying hard not to sound nervous. "Meet our new neighbors, Dean and Sam!"
"Hey Dean! Hi Sam! Hello! Hey. Hi. How you doin'?" Et cetera came from the teenagers.
"You wanna come in the pool?" Gabriel asked.
"We didn't bring swim shorts." Dean said.
"Then just take off your shirt and hop in." Gabriel replied, looking at Sam and smirking. ((A/N I can throw in Sabriel if I feel like it (:< ))
"It's fine, I don't really want to go swimming." Sam replied, turning around though he was visibly smiling.
Castiel looked to Dean. Just act normal. He doesn't remember you. He's a completely different person. Act like he's new to you. The voice in his head encouraged.
"If you want to get in you have to jump from up there." Charlie said, grinning.
"All the way up there?!" Dean asked, surprised.
"Yup!" Meg shouted from the other side of the pool.
Dean's lip went up a little into a half-smile. "Fine. But if I hit the ground, it's your fault."
"The pool is a fucking FOOT AWAY from the house!" Michael said again.
Dean didn't reply and instead walked over to the ladder, climbing up fast and getting up to the roof in about 15 seconds.
"I'm gonna jump!" Dean shouted, his voice sounding small and faint to Castiel.
And he jumped off.
A/N: I PROMISE this is the LAST AUTHORS NOTE I WILL PLACE! Unless it is EXTREMELY important than I find authors notes very annoying. But I just want to say I PROMISE I will NEVER ask for votes. I won't be that person who says 'Hey guys, I'm not getting many views, so until I get 500 I won't be updating again! :)' Just no. Also disclaimer: I do not (of course) own any of the characters in the book, I only own the plot. And yes, I will be putting references in this story, virtual cookies for you if you can catch the one in this chapter. Third, sorry for making a short chapter and not updating for a while, I'm busy with my IG selection and stuff so yeah.
Fourth, I WANT to put cursing in this fanfiction, but I don't usually curse in my stories so it's hard to figure out where to add the curse words. Lastly, Michael is portrayed by Matt Cohen, just so you get a visual. Thanks for reading~
