Chapter 3 You Know What I Heard

Caspar:

I walk out onto the campus, trying to find Tyler. He said he would show me around. Then, out of the corner of my eye I spot him. Joe. Once again, appearing. I see another guy with him. And Miss. Sugg. But Joe seems sheepish. I start walking up to him, but I stop cold. I hear Joe say;

"I think I have a crush..."

But I can't make out the rest. Then the guy yells something. He says;

"I think I love..."

And then Joe goes and stomps on my heart, and hugs the man. Oh god. Joe likes... And this guy... And Joe is... But... I can't... Why? What? But why do I care? All the feelings rush through my head and I can't focus. So I turn on my heel to run.

I suddenly hear someone running after me.

"Caspar wait!" It was Joe, i don't want to talk to him right now. But I stop and face towards him.

"What do you want Joe?" I asked. When I get a closer look at his face I see its pale white as if he was frightened, what happened from just seconds ago until now.

Tears, hot and wet sting my eyes. He's oblivious. So am I. Do I love this guy? No. No I don't. Then why am I sad he loves another? Because maybe I do.

"Why are you running?"

The tears drop down my face.

"What did you hear?"

I suddenly get mad.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK JOE? WHAT DO YOU THINK?"

He steps back, shaken. I turn to run again, but Angie catches my arm, leading me away, with Aura.

Angie and Aura pull me into their arms. "Whats wrong Caspar? What did he do?" Aura asked.

"I like someone but they like/love someone else, and that someone is Joe. He was talking to a guy and his sister about it. I overheard them and stopped to listen." I explained.

"He said something about like someone than that went loving that person. I just wish that person was me you know." I continued with my rant and Joe.

"Caspar I know what it feels like and it sucks. It does I won't deny it. But I heard the conversation incorrectly and it turns out that Tyde liked me and not someone else. And we are still together today aren't we?" Angie told me.

"Yeah and I feel like I have already done that to Finn because I was talking to Troye about it and it turns out he was behind me for half the conversation. I was about ready to kill Troye for not telling me he was there." Aura said to me while walking with our arms linked.

I laugh.

"So, what did you say about Finn?"

She punched my arm and glared at me, while Angie laughed.

"I said a few things..."

Angie laughed again.

"She said she liked him, but hugged Troye, then they kept talking, which was when Finn came in, and she started talking about an Ex, which he thought was someone she was currently with. It's quite funny actually."

Aura doesn't laugh, but I do.

"Looks we're both in a predicament Aura."

She glares at Angie.

"Angie your dead to me. You know that right?"

"Yeah I know Aura. So Caspar do you want me and Aura to investigate with Joe?" Angie asked.

"Could you? That would ease my pain. Or it might increase them, but if it was me he was talking about I'll be so much happier then if it was someone else."

"Ok. So we are going to go check it out, you go find Troye or Tyler or someone like that and maybe go talk to the Harries twins." Aura said.

"Ok. The Harries names are Jack and ..."

"Finn. His name is Finn, Caspar!" Aura whisper shouted at me.

I just laughed.

Tyler:

Caspar comes running up to and Troye, just as I was about to hug him.

"TYLER HEY TYLER!"

He looks like he's been crying. I open my arms.

"Cum. Embrace."

He laughs.

"Real mature Tyler!"

I laugh. Well, giggle.

"Hey dude, have you been crying?" Troye asks, reaching out to grab Caspar's arm.

"Yeah a little I had a heart to heart to heart with Angie and Aura it turned out they have/had the same problems I am having." Caspar explained to Troye and I

"Okay. So do still want that tour around campus?" I asked him.

"Yes please. I would like to know where to go for classes and lunch. But definitely lunch."

I laugh, but then I realize.

"Hey, why were you crying?"

He shakes his head.

"You don't even know bro."
