I waited for the cool steel of the gun to touch my temple.
To my suprise, it didn't.
I turned to where Billie was pointing.
A man was lying in a heap.
He was dressed all in black, and had dark hair, which was greasy. Blood dripped from his hairline and ran down his face, into his eyebrow. He'd been hit on the head. I stared at Billie.
"Did you do that?" I asked. He looked up at me. His eyes seemed empty. He moved his gaze from my eyes to a hammer next to him. "Holy fuck, Beej. Are you okay?" I asked. He kept his gaze on the hammer. I untied him, silently wondering how he even grabbed that hammer.
I untied his feet and moved behind his back, untying his hands from behind him. His hands were free, so I went to move back, but he surprised me with a sudden hug. He clung to me like he never wanted to let go. I wrapped my arms around him, holding him tight, protecting him.
He was smaller then I remembered.
"Mike," I heard him choke, and I realized he was crying. It was then I realized I was, too. I knelt down to his level and wrapped my arms around him even tighter. We stayed like that for a few minuets. I finally released him and checked on the guy. He was still alive. I tied him up, making sure he'd have no way out in case he woke up before the cops arrived. I held my hand out for Billie and he took it, and I led him out of the house.
Yeah, we were holding hands. Go on, make your jokes.
I led him to the car and took Tre's hoodie off, putting it on Billie.I decided I wasn't ready to take him home yet, so I called for a pizza and drinks. We ate and drank, which Billie really needed.
It was then that I called the cops.
*Tre's POV*
I woke up and checked the time. 4:07am. Da fuq? I wandered over to Mike's room, sticking my head in.
No Mike in sight. (Heh, see what I did?)
I checked every other room.
No Mike.
It was here that I freaked out. I waited for almost two hours. He would be home by now. My phone rang, it was Alex.
"Tre. Get your ass down here." He hung up. Okay, so they found Mike. And maybe Billie? As much as I was trying to think that, I couldn't help the question that kept popping up in my head.
What if they found them both... dead?
*Mike POV*
They took Billie Joe away from me to check him up. Suddenly, Tre walked around the corner and saw me just casually sitting. He ran over and tackled me in a hug.
"Hi!" I choked.
"I thought you were dead, little fucker." He muttered into my hair. I hugged him back.
"But, I found him. That's what matters." I said. At that moment, Billie Joe Armstrong himself walked around the corner. Tre ran over and picked him up, hugging him. Billie chuckled and hugged him back.
*Billie's POV*
I chuckled in Tre's arms. It felt so safe. I watched Mike smile at us. Man I had missed them.
It was good to be back.
