Target 9 - Pastries and Cakes

Main Situation

Wahhh, cakes, bread and cinnamon rolls !

As you enter the bakery, the smell of freshly baked pastries fills the air.

Sniff, sniff...

"Welcome to Momo Park Bakery."

The voice came from behind the counter.

The person is a lady in her 30's with brown, braided hair.

From the looks of her, she could be the owner.

"Umm... I'm looking for someone."

"Oh, who are you looking for?"

You show her a photo of Ms. Nissa from your mobile phone.

Immediately, the lady gave a look of recognition and disgust.

"She came here yesterday. Such a walking disaster."

"Um.. did she do something?"

"Ya, ya, she was arguing with my workers about the price."

"Price?"

"She refuse to pay us in full at the counter just because she was a little late for the sale."

"Oh, I see."

That... sounds a lot like Ms. Nissa unfortunately.

"So, what's with her?"

You explain to the lady about the whole incident.

The lady gave a smile of sastifaction.

"Hehe, did she went missing? Good riddance."

She must have really hate Ms. Nissa.

You don't blame her though. Ms. Nissa can be a pain sometimes.

Time to leave.

"Is that all?"

The lady asks as you are about to exit the bakery.

"Thank you-"

"How about buying some of my pastries before you go?"

I would like to-"

A. "-leave as soon as possible."
B. "-buy the special of the day."
C. "-see if there's any pastries on sale."

Chapter A - Leave

"That's too bad... I was hoping you would-"

"Sorry, maybe I'll come again another day."

"Sure, sure."

With that, you left the bakery.

Unfortunately, there's no new information that could be of use from the bakery.

Besides the fact that the owner mentioned on seeing Ms. Nissa yesterday...

It's better to write it down just in case.

Chapter B - Special Order

"Coming righttt up!"

Shouted the owner as she went to the back room, leaving you well... alone.

While waiting, you decide to look at the pastries and cakes.

Cakes, cakes, should have order these cakes~

Chocolate Chips, Mint Cream, Black Forest !

Looks yummy, creamy and-

Something must have drop on the floor nearby the counter.

You search for it, and found the source lying by the corner of the cake display cabinet.

A keychain?

It's in the shape of an owl and made of wood.

There's writing on it :

Office Store Key

But there's no key attached.

Not feeling right about taking stuff that doesn't belong to you, you decide to ask the lady about it, just in case.

"Thank you for your purchase!"

The lady answers that she doesn't know anything about it and suggests that you keep it instead.

You left the bakery, feeling content at your new-found discovery.

Chapter C

"Hmm... these baguettes are on sale."

"Anything else that's easier to eat and carry around?"

"I can always cut it up if you like."

"Okay, I'll buy one."

As you watch the lady cut up the baguette, you made some conversation with her.

The lady seems more willing to talk to you after hearing more about your planned investigation.

It's mostly rants about Ms. Nissa but there's something you find really crucial to your investigation.

"About yesterday..."

"What about it?"

"Ms. Nissa came in yesterday."

"Yes, you already-"

"She was followed by someone."

"By someone... do you know who?"

"No, just a hunch. Woman's intuition maybe?"

The lady went on, saying that Ms. Nissa came to the bakery in a sight of distress.

That she look more like a person looking for a shelter.

Also, she said Ms. Nissa was here about an hour or so yesterday and left without buying anything.

You record the lady's statements into your notebook.

Gain Bakery Advantage.

After purchasing your baguette, you left the bakery and head immediately to your next destination.

The bar.
