Ski Ball

"Soo. Who's your room-mate.?" I asked, aiming for the 100 on the Ski Ball game. After we had lunch, we all decided to come to the lounge. Alex and Taylor were playing pool, and I was playing ski Ball, Jace, Seth, and Luke were standing around me, watching me lose, to no one in particular. I already used up 5 balls and I had 15 points.

"Each other." Seth said rolling the ball up the lane. I watched as it landed in the 100 hole. I growled and Seth just smirked.

"Wow…! Can’t wait to see how that plays out." I mumbled, again, aiming for the 100, but ended up landing in the 5.

"Maybe you should just quit." Jace laughed as he picked up a ball and tossed it, rolling it into the 50. I groaned and just plopped down on the side.

"I quit!" I said throwing my hands up in the air and walking towards Taylor and Alex.

"Hey guys." I said hoping next to Taylor.

"Hey Lily." They said smiling. I just stood there and, watched them knock the pool balls in the hole with a stick, without knocking the 8 ball in. Yeah. That’s my definition of pool. Not the best, but as we say, DONT FREAKING JUDGE ME!!

"Umm, Lily, instead of standing there watching, why not, oh I don’t know? Join us." Alex said. I looked up at him and bit my lip, then I ducked my head.

"I don’t know how to play pool." I mumbled. They looked at me shocked, and I felt my face heat up.

"What!?"

"I. Do. Not. Know. How. To. Play. Pool." I slowly said.

"Well come on, we're just going to have to teach you. Wont we?" Alex said smirking.

"Errr. OK." I said walking next to him. He handed me the pool stick, and I held it. He walked behind me and wrapped his arms around me, and put his hands on mine.

"This. Is how you hold the pool stick." He said. His breath hitting my neck. I shivered, and nodded. Then he pulled my hand back, and pushed it up, hitting the ball.

"That. Is how you shoot." He whispered. We watched as the solid red ball rolled its way across the pool table, and into one of the pockets.

"OK. No more helping." Taylor said grumbling as he shot, and missed. Alex and I laughed.

"Aww! Come on Taylor. I doubt she can get it on the first try. She is a girl after all." Alex said. I crossed my arms over my chest and turned to face him.

"And what's being a girl have to do with anything!?" I snapped.

"That I doubt you can make it in again." He smirked. I glared and turned around.

After 20 minutes of shooting the balls into pockets, I ended up winning.

"Oh my gosh! I won!!" I yelled jumping up and giving Alex a hug. I wrapped my legs around his waist, and my arms around his neck. He held onto my waist.

"You sure did, on your first game ever." He said laughing. We stayed like that for a few minutes before we heard someone clearing their throat. I looked up to see Jace standing in front of us with his arms crossed. Luke was on his right and Seth on his left. Alex automatically let go of my waist, and I unwrapped my legs from his waist and removed my arms from around his neck.

"Why was he touching you?" Seth growled.

"Chill Seth. We were just hugging, and I hugged him first."

"That looked like more than a hug." Luke snapped. I just sighed and rolled my eyes.

"Ok. Whatever guys." I muttered.
