Chapter 3

The next morning I wake up to Kiana shaking me saying "you're late, your alarms been going off for 30 minutes!" My eyes shoot open and I grab my bag while throwing practice clothes in there. I quickly brush my teeth and head out the door half dressed I open the door with Liam standing in front of me about to knock. He looks me up and down and silently bites his lip. I instantly close the door forgetting I only have a sports bra on. Kiana laughs and says "Well that was mean!" After brushing my teeth I grab my keys and tell her to text me if she needs me I finally open the door to a smiling Liam. I politely smile and shut the door. We walk to the car quietly and as im opening the door he says "Let me" and grabs the door handle. I blush and give him a small smile, he's already becoming my bestfriend, besides Kiana of course! Even though he is one of the most popular people in the most gorgeous band in the world, he seems pretty laid back.

We pull into the café downtown and I grab my phone and slide it into my pocket. Walking in I see Micayla. I groan and roll my eyes. He asks me quietly why I don't like her and I explain what happened, because secretly she's intimidating. He gives me a speech about how I deserve to be on the team and in the middle of it I don't notice that he has snaked his arms around my waist. Micayla guves me a stern look and I blush, looking away. He orders his coffee while I get a bagel. I quietly spread my cream cheese lightly onto it smoothing it over all the bumps, avoiding eye contact with Liam. He sits across from me stirring his coffee and asks me how I think training is going to be. I honestly answer and say exhausting, but productive. he nods his head and says "That's always the attitude I want on a team!" I finish my snack while he takes my trash and returns asking if we should head to the practice field. We head to the car and as im getting in my phone rings and I continue my conversation all the way there.
