Chapter 2

Chase's P.O.V

After laying on the ground for a bit, I got up and the bell went off. I had Maths next. With Trent. My life just got so much better(!)

*Time skip*

I was so glad I didn't run into Trent again today. I walked up to my locker, grabbed my books and saw that everyone else had already left. Except Trent. He walked up to me and pushed me to the lockers. He then punched me in the face and stomach and walked out the school.

"Great, now I have a black eye." I held my face for a bit then grabbed my bag and headed home.

As I walked in the front door I saw Mr Davenport waiting for me with the others behind him. I quickly hid my face with my bag.

"Chase!" Mr Daveport yelled. He looked mad. They all did. All I could do was remain silent. "Where were you?! You were meant to be home ages ago!" He snapped at me.

"I was... in the library." I said quickly.

But the others could tell when I was lying. "Your lying!" Bree shouted.

"Chase, get to your tube!" Mr Davenport pointed to the lift. I ran over, still hiding my face and raced into the lab.

I found Bree's make up and borrowed it to hide my black eye.

Today went perfectly...
