My Brother's Bandmate

Seventeen

"Do you think he is still sleeping?", Niall asks way too loud.

"Shhh", I hiss, "The visiting hours are over. We are as it is sneaking in as nurses. You do not want to be caught, do you?"

He shakes his head rapidly like a terrified child about to face his parents' wrath. I smile and open the door to Harry's hospital room.

"Where is he?", I whisper shout.

"How am I supposed to know?", Niall whispers back in the same tone. I roll my eyes.

I hear the flush go and I look towards the washroom to see a very sleepy looking Harry coming out of it. I sigh a deep breath of relief and run towards him to grasp him in a tight hug.

I wrap my arms around his neck too tightly and feel him flinch a bit. I loosen my hold and he relaxes under my touch. We stand there for 5 minutes hugging each other.

Niall clears his throat and I blush with my face buried in Harry's neck. He freezes when I kiss his neck and I pull away smirking.

"Are you ok mate?", Niall asks.

He nods his head which indicates that he is trying to say yes. Well he still can't speak. Bummer.

"I'll just be a minute." , I excuse myself and let them have some privacy.

I go out of the hospital and inhale the fresh breeze blowing outside the hospital doors. I hear a few sobs and I scan the whole parking lot just outside the hospital to see if anyone is around.

I soon see a bench and perched on it is a young girl , whose body is raking with sobs. Her shoulders are shaking violently and i grow anxious, enough to go and sit next her.

She looks up as though she felt me sit beside her. Seeing her face though puts me in a complete state of shock. It's Tia. Why am I not surprised? Sure I am shocked cause she looks to be in a terrible state , the tears spreading her smudge- proof mascara and her eyes swollen and puffy. I am not at all surprised seeing it's Tia cause I know she is facing a rocky- path in her life.

"What happened? Are you alright. I swear if it's Richard again—

"No , no it's not Richard. But wait how do you know that Richard had caused me trouble this morning.. I mean I told you right that he is my boyfriend? You believed me didn't you?", she says very fast.

"Of course I didn't believe you silly. The look on your face gave away your lie. And yeah don't you ever lie to me about him again. Tell me if he threatens you again and I will give him what he deserves.", I say in a determined tone. Oh and I am serious. Tia ,well I just feel the need to protect her.. like an elder sister.

"Thankyou Gehna, it means a lot. It really does. I really appreciate what you did today, you know you came and saved me at the correct time. Not much people really care about me. Actually no one does.. I don't even know where my family ......." Tia stops immediately when she realizes that she was about to admit that she didn't have a family.

"What?", I ask her hoping she will continue what she was saying.

"Nothing ", she says in a small voice.

I begin to tell her that she should vent out her feelings in front of me but the vibrations in my pocket stop me from doing so.

"Sorry", I apologize before answering Niall's call.

"Where did you run off to?", he snaps.
