Numb

To lay on the snow,

fade away

and numb to the bone and

life decay.

shiver to ice, lose sense of touch

Touch with reality,

losing too much.

Goosebumps fade to frostbite, and

smiles fade to grey

emotions crystallize in the night

as you lay

Down on the ground with

snow to your cheeks

It's not cold anymore, but

you feel very weak.

Pink turns to white, a shade of emptiness,

so numb.

White turns to blue, therefore

it's too late to run.

Hold that last breath;

listen to the sound

A whisper puts you to rest, and

comforts you all around.
