I was still plopped sideways on my bed infront of my laptop when my phone dinged with a text.

Adrenaline suddenly surged though my veins with the anticipation that it was a text from Harry. I swiftly grabbed up my phone and held the bright screen close to my face.

The surge of energy quickly drained away as I read the message:

"Verizon Msg: You've used about 75% of your 10GB data plan (cycle ends the 6th). Extra data for this cycle will be $15 per 1GB. Or, to increase your plan by 2GB for $10 more a month, reply YES"

I growled deeply. The wifi still wasn't set up properly in our new home and we have been here already for a few weeks. My data was going to be gone soon, what would I ever do? I was genuinely angry at that fact that my parents have pretty much not done anything since we've moved in, but I also felt like a bit of a hypocrite as I examined my room, which was filled with boxes left and right. The only area that was completely unpacked was my bed, and that was sort-of a depressing thought.

I honestly was postponing setting up my room because I thought maybe we would leave Florida last second. A tiny sliver of hope was left in me that my parents would understand how much I didn't want to be here and let me go back to my real home. But of course, that would never happen. Unpacking my belongings would be a step into reality for me.

"Ariel, honey!" I heard my mom faintly call. "I'm going to go run some errands, your father and I won't be home until late so you can order pizza for dinner or anything you'd like."

"Okay, mom, love you." I called back as I peeked out my door. I watched her from upstairs grab the car keys and walk out the front door, locking it behind her. Maybe this would be a good time to set up my room.

Suddenly, my phone rang with urgency from it's resting spot on my mattress. I launched on top of it and it fiddled around in my hands before I could see who was calling.

Harry.

I tapped the little green icon, as a squeal managed to escape my throat. "Hello?" I answered, trying to sound as cute as I possibly could in my lazy, crackly voice.

"Hey baby, say why don't you ever call or text me first?" His deep voice vibrated through the speaker being the usual Harry he is, skipping past small talk. The way he said baby replayed in my head magically until he spoke again. "It seems as if I am always the one instigating our conversations." I blushed deep red.

"Sorry, I can't keep track of all the boys at once," I joked cheekily, hoping I sounded flirty enough.

"Ariel, I am deeply offended, there are other men in your life?!" He joked back. I could hear his dimpled smile through the phone and giggled. "So what are you doing right now?" The smile still traceable in his confident words.

"I'm about to decorate my room." I twirled a loose curl in-between my fingers. I could almost feel his light-hearted prescence through the phone without him speaking and it was such a comforting feeling.

"Ah." He responded in understanding. Then, a thought popped into my head.

"Wanna help me?" I asked, moving the stray hair that I was playing with over my shoulder. I knew it was a dumb idea and that if my parents found out then I would be in serious trouble, but I couldn't honestly care less. I wanted to see him and that was that. Truthfully, I was hoping that a little bit more would happen. If you know what I mean.
