~A few years later~

I worked so hard with Cyclone we had a bond, a bond like no other. I was going to help him be able to compete again, and it worked but he isn't World Champion or anything. Well, he hasn't competed either but he will once he jumps as high as he used to. He has gottin to 3 foot jumps but thats half of what he used to jump. He could have jumped 6 foot jumps. Everyday he could jump an inch higher at the end of the day. I knew he could and he would get to were he was.

Each day he got better and better with people and other horses. Soon he was able to move out of the old barn and into the stallion and gelding barn. He didn't like the barn very well so I brought him into an empty pasture that we never really used, it was the smallest out of the others only three acres., the other are eight, but they also hold more horses. He loved it in there he soon made friends with the colts on the other side so we let them in together that was his herd, and he was the leader. He hated going in at night and having to leave his new friends.

In the morning I came to get Cyclone, but he wasn't there I looked every where. I found him in the arena with a girl maybe a year older than me. She had Cyclone free jumping 6  foot jumps, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I walked up to her and introduced myself  "Hi i'm Jessica Wellor and you are?" "I'm Mallori Larson is this your horse?" She said  " Umm yes he has never jumped that  high since his ascendant what did you do?" I asked totally shocked "I don't know its like he just wanted to I started him off at low jumps then got bigger...oh and I gave him some peppermints after every jump even if he did bad." she said then flashed a huge smile at me.

"Peppermints", I said "I didn't know horses like peppermints?" "Yes apparently" she said. We talked for awile and she told me all about her horse Tango who is a six year old Palomino Roan mare. She showed me pictures and videos and we laughed and laughed. She had just moved here from South Carolina three weeks ago with her mom and had  been looking for a place to keep Tango and she said she was thinking about keeping her here and that she will be here tomorrow with her dad.

Tomorrow came so fast that, we found our self on a trail ride talking and laughing at 8:00 in the morning. Cyclone was inlove with Tango and not just because he was a stallion, and how I knew that wa because when we stopped at the stream Cyclone would give up where he was for Tango. Mallori and I watched them play, run, and trot around, after awile Mallori's mom texted her to come back to the barn that she had a surprise for her.

We raced back to the barn so fast that we cut through the fields and jumped the paddocks and got there in record time. We meet up with her mom in the arena and saw Dannie one of our geldings tied to one of the walls. Turns out my dad gave her permission to show him im a show next month. She was so excited, she almost stopped breathing. It turns out Tango is retierd from jumping because she had a good jumping life. so she gets to show Dannie.

Now everyday of the week we practice and get better and better. Dannie loved Mallori they had a bond, she rode Tango on the weekends though and visits her at night before she leaves. Cyclone and I practice just like them and on weekend we go on trail rides. she helped me get Cyclone to where he used to be and soon a competition came.
