I stopped in front of my locker and opened it. A pink envelope flew out. I picked it up and opened it.

Greetings Skylar,
For u should be honoured, I, Chase Herman, wrote this letter myself.
So let's not beat around the bush. Will u be my date for the prom?

I shuddered in disgust. Romantic much? Asking people to go to prom with you through a letter. Excuse me so what if you really is a prince? I'm higher rank than u so u know! Knowing Chase, his an impatient person so I have to reply him asap if not he will throw tantrum and that would affect my parents rep. I quickly took a post it note from my locker and wrote a simple answer.

I quickly found his locker and throw the note in.

"Your Highness!" My bodyguard, Issac called out. I turned around and faced him. "Issac. What did I say? " I said sharply. I hate people calling me that. Makes me feel like a bitch.

"Sorry yo- Skylar. But I'm here to tell you His Highness wants you to meet him now. " He informed me.

I inhaled sharply. "Issac. Tell my father if he wants to talk to me, he can text me that's what a phone is for. And I need to go to class before I get late." With that I ran to my first class.

I went inside and greeted my English teacher Ms Renee. "Morning Ms Renee!" I greeted her as I walked past her and sat down. Waiting for people to come in. "Morning Skylar."

The class went by fast but no sign of my best friend Rain. Where is Rain? I walked out of the class and was crashed by someone smelling like marshmallows. I know who that is.

"Sky!!! You cannot believe what I found! Oh my gee!!!" He shouted at my ear. I sometime wonder whether his secretly a girl.

"Rain! Stop shouting! Do u want my other ear to be deaf huh?! " I scowled at him. So you guys know, Rain did made me deaf on one ear. And now I have one side of my head with hearing aid and another without it. His just lucky I can afford the transparent one.

He pouted and apologized. "Awww.. Sorry Sky. I'm just you know? Excited?"

Not wanting my best friend to be upset, I changed the subject, asking him what got him so excited.

Like I predicted, his mood immediately lightened. He than suddenly whisper, "A really hot guy is transferring to our school!! With like red hair and can u believe it? HEIGHT OF 173!! Exactly your ideal!!!! But he will only come to school tomorrow " he pouted at the last sentence.

I just stare at him. And stared till he feel creeped  out. "Hot ah Rain. Wait till I tell Shane." I mumbled the last part.

"NO! DON'T TELL SHANE! PLEASE!" He pleaded.

"Don't tell me what?" Shane asked appearing nowhere.

"Erm.. nothing...?"

"Sky?"

I grinned. "Oh really nothing. Just Rain telling me about this hot guy who he wish to jump on his bones. You know?" I said, trying to be casual while trying not to laugh at Rain's horrified expression.

"Oh really babe? So there's someone hotter than me?" Shane ask pouting feigning sad.

"Erm no no!! Sky's just lying." Rain lied, glaring at me daring me to say more.

I snickered and walked away as the bell rang.
