Chapter 24: Food Fight

"Dan wanna go make me breakfast?" I ask, rolling over to face him.

We've been in LA for a few days now and sadly we leave tomorrow.

"Why would I want to do that?" Dan replies, wrapping his arms around me.

"Because you love me!" I say, trying my best to make a sad face.

"You're not wrong. How can I say no to the face?" Dan responds, tapping my nose.

"You can't. Now go I'm starving and Mak and I have to film a video later!" I exclaim. Dan laughs and gets up off the bed.

"Fine but if I'm doing this, I get to be in the video!" Dan says, crossing his arms.

"Okay yes you can be in the video." I reply. Dan smiles and kisses me on the forehead.

He leaves the room and I roll out of bed to get ready.

I throw on a pair of black shorts and a blue tank top and throw my hair into a ponytail.

I walk out for the room and head to the kitchen to see Dan actually cooking something.

"It smells good babe." I say, hugging him from behind.

"Only for the best." Dan replies. He turns around and I expect him to give me a hug but he instead throws pancake mix in my face.

"You did not just do that!" I scream, grabbing eggs and throwing them at him.

"Ow that hurts! You throw to hard!" Dan whines, trying to find the nearest thing to throw at me.

"Well I wasn't a softball player for nothing!" I reply, getting the flour and dumping it on him.

"And here we have- what the heck are you to doing! I was gonna vlog you guys being cute!" Mak says, coming into the room.

"He started it!" I yelled, pointing a finger at Dan.

"Did not!" Dan yells back, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Stop acting like children!" Mak says trying to be serious but fails and ends up laughing. 

Dan and I join with her and he wraps his arms around me.

"There this is what I wanted!" Mak exclaims.

"Yep we're just the cutest." I reply. Dan pecks me on the cheek and I smile. But I return it with a handful of flour to the face.

"You did not just do that!" Dan screams, letting go.

"Haha!" I respond.

"You two stop it! Lauren, go clean up, we need to film our video!" Mak says, turning off her camera.

"Actually Dan is going to be in the video, I told him he could." I explain. Mak rolls her eyes and then smiles.

"Okay then. Now shoo!" Mak exclaims. So, Dan and I head back to our room.

"Dibs on shower!" I scream, making a mad dash to the bathroom.

"No fair! You had it first yesterday!" Dan whines playfully. I giggle at his actions.

"I'll be out in a sec." I tell him. Dan pouts, making me laugh.

"You know we could always-" Dan starts but I cut him off.

"Don't even finish that sentence!" I exclaim, hitting him on the shoulder.

Dan nods his head and I lock the door and quickly take a shower.

"Dan?" I call out, as I step out of the shower. I wrap a towel around myself and walk outside of the bathroom.

I shrug my shoulders and get dressed. Just as I pull my shirt over my head, I feel arms snake around my waist, making me scream.

"Gosh Lauren, I didn't know you hated me so much!" Dan exclaims.

"Shut up! You're so dumb!" I say, laughing. I turn around and notice Dan is ready.

"I took a shower in the other bathroom." Dan explains, reading my thoughts. I nod my head and kiss Dan sweetly.

"God I love you." Dan breathes. I giggle and return the I love you.

"LAUREN? DAN? YOU READY TO GO?" Mak screams from upstairs.

"YEAH!" I scream back.

"We're needed else where." I tell Dan. Dan chuckles and takes ahold of my hand.

"So what are we filming?" Mak asks, as we walk into the room.

"Well on my channel I wanted to do the Best Friend vs Boyfriend game but if you get a question wrong you get a plate of whip cream to the face." I say.

"Ugh. Does this mean I'll take another shower?!" Dan groans.

"Hehehe." I reply, rubbing my hands together.

"Alright let's get started!" Mak exclaims, setting up the camera and sitting down. I sit in the middle, since its on my channel.

"Hello my little ponies! It's Lauren! Today I am joined with my best friend Mak and my wonderful boyfriend Daniel." I say.

"Haha, she said I'm wonderful!" Dan replies. Mak responds by sticking her tongue out.

"Stop it you two! Now today we are doing the Best Friend vs Boyfriend game because now I finally have a boyfriend to do it! But there's a twist! If they get a question wrong they get a plate of whip cream to the face!" I exclaim, laughing.

"So let's get to it!" Dan squeals in a girly voice.

"Someone help me!" I yell, causing us all to laugh.

By the end of all our videos, Mak and Dan are full of whip cream from mine, our faces are full of weird stuff that we used as face masks for Mak's and we humiliated ourselves by playing the 7 second challenge for Dan's.

"Wow what a day!" Dan says, collapsing on the floor.

"Yeah I'm gonna miss this." I reply.

"I just got a major case of déjà vu!" Mak exclaims.

"Yeah we've definitely been in this situation before." I respond, laying next to Dan on the floor.

"Well one thing is gonna be different." Mak says.

"And what is that?" I ask intrigued.

"Wait let me get Kian!" Mak replies, running out of the room.

"You're so annoying!" I call after her.

She returns a few seconds later with Kian.

"We have some exciting news!" Mak exclaims.

"Just tell us already!" Dan says, propping himself up.

"We're moving back to England!"
