Chapter 10:Back To Business

Chapter Ten

(Zayn's P.O.V)

Harry's been acting so happy lately.He didn't notice me when he went up to his room.I was in the kitchen preparing some butter toasts for our breakfast.He's barely at home yesterday.He only stayed to sleep and went out again.I haven't seen him like this.We have to see that girl he talked about.I'm eating my toast and drinking my coffee when Liam got downstairs.

"Morning,Li.I prepared some toasts for us."

"Morning too,Zayn.Did you know where Harry is?"

"Uhm.Yeah.He's upstairs getting some sleep maybe.He just arrived an hour later.Why?"

"Good.Uncle Si wants to meet us today.We'll meet him 3 in the afternoon.Maybe he'll discuss about our next album."He went in the kitchen and came back holding a cup of hot chocolate and some toasts.Later,Niall and Louis joined us.We killed time by singing our songs together,joking around.I logged on to twitter saying.

When we got tired of singing,we played truth or dare.Harry came down rubbing his eyes while yawning.we looked on him.

"Morning,mates!What do we have in the kitchen?",he asked.

"None.Let's just order some food.By the way,Harry.Simon will meet us at 3pm,"Liam informed him.

"Thanks."He sat beside me.

"Hi,Harry.How's the date last night with mystery girl?",Louis scooted next to Harry.He just smiled.

"Losing your tongue at talking about her.Come on.We wanna know.You didn't come home last night so spill!"Louis persisted.

"We just talked about our lives.In the middle of the moonlit night sky on the lake.Nothing interesting for you guys."

"Make-out sessions?"Liam asked surprisingly.His facial expressions changed.

"She's not like that.We're only friends.Yeah I like her but I won't take advantage of it.I think she's the kind that will slap me if I kissed her.I like her company just simple as that,"he explained.We just nod our heads.We were surprised by him.Something's really goin'on on Harry.When the food delivery came,we ate our lunch and few minutes later,we're preparing for our meeting with Simon.This is the time we're all looking forward.Back to business,to our passions and careers.I'm excited.We are all.We arrived 15 minutes earlier than the expected time.We are all sitting in a room,waiting for Simon.Then he came and greeted us.

"Good afternoon,boys.How's the vacation?"Simon greeted us.

"Very fine.How about Uncle Si?"Louis returned a question.

"Nothing interesting."

"But Harry had.Right,Harry?"Louis turned to Harry with a mischievous grin on his face.

"Shut up,Lou.Let's just get down into business,"Harry said irritatedly.Simon just laughed at Louis while we're snickering.Louis rolled his eyes at us.Harry seemed to be serious.Really!

Simon discussed about the Australia and New Zealand tour,interviews during the tour,about preparing and rehearsals.He also give me a hint of what maybe the Aussie interviewer would ask.Perrie and I's break-up and about new love life.I sighed after hearing it.I think I can control my emotions now unlike when It's still fresh.I looked very much affected and annoyed whenever the question is about that.Hopefully,I.won't blow off this time.Liam snapped his fingers on me.I flinched.

"Ahm.Come again?"I asked

"Can you handle that now pretty well?"Simon repeated his question.

"Sure I can.Is there anything else?"

"Nothing for now.I'll just call for a meeting if there's anything I'll add.That's it for now,boys.Your rehearsal starts tomorrow.Goodbye."Then he left.

"You're still affected,aren't you,Zayn?"Liam asked me.

"N-no.Not really.I'm just thinking the last interview about that.I kinda messed up.But I assure you guys,not this time."I gave them a reassuring smile.We went home few minutes after Simon left.

We just ordered chinese food for our dinner and be delivered it on our flat.We slept earlier this time because we have an early appointment for our rehearsal tomorrow.I'm thinking how to act normal when someone would mention her name.My mind got tired and my lids and lashes hit each other.
