My Love Is My Dream

Upon your hair, how I would gaze
Those webs of purist gold;
Black wide eyes mine would alight upon
And all my secrets told.

With restless mouth, how I would touch
Those ravishing, luscious lips;
How I would brush your cheek so fair
With quivering fingertips.

Upon thy body, I would gape
Each curve, the finest art;
And when at last our bodies met,
My senses would depart!

Along fair beaches we would walk
Along the river's side;
Under the sun dispelling cloud,
Our hands ever entwined.

In fields of golden corn we'd lay,
In mountains we would sing;
Thy loving eyes and happy heart
Would my love bring.

Rainbow's end was ever near
While you did abound;

This belle of mine was held in wonder
Your elegance renowned.

A silver stream, your hair is now,
Thy eyes a deeper green;
Thy body warmer to the touch,

My love for you is a dream.
A dream come true.
