Jason had moved to college and I am left behind. It’s really hard to have a long distance relationship with him, now with the fact that I really love him despite of the confusing question if we are twins or blood-related or not. Despite of that darkest secret, I still love him and I want him so bad.

I sat on the couch, looking at Kevin as he watch Spongebob on the television. He rocked back and forth, laughing at the right time when something funny happens. I smiled and crawled towards Kevin, “Hey there, do you want to eat something?”

Kevin shook his head, “Where’s Daddy?”

“Daddy who?” I asked, teasing him.

“Jason.” He pouted cutely. I pinched his nose and giggled.

               “He’ll be here soon.”

I am glad that Jason is spending a few days with me during this short holiday. I know it’s hard for him to travel all the way here from Cambridge, but seeing him makes me really happy. And I know us, being together, makes him happy too.

There was a sudden honk of a car outside.

“Stay here, okay?” I kissed Kevin on the forehead and stood up, walking to the door and peeking out to see who it is.

“Jiselle! I’m glad I caught up to you!” a woman with beautiful, curly blond hair and curvy body came bouncing up to the front porch.

               “Hi, Mrs. Creevey.”

“Oh, please! Just call me Cindy! Where’s Kevin?” she asked.

“Inside.” I moved aside and let in Cindy.

“There you are, my big baby boy!” She scooped up Kevin and gave him a big hug and kisses which left a lipstick on Kevin’s face. Now I have to wash Kevin again.

“Welcome home, mommy!” Kevin said, giving Cindy a big hug.

Cindy placed down Kevin and she turned to me, “Thank you so much for taking care of Kevin, Jiselle. I’m just really busy at work! And Adrianne’s out of town again! Oh, I heard your brother is in town? Kevin really loves him.”

I shrugged, “Yeah. They both have the same attitude.” A flash of Jason’s face came inside my head, making me smile.

“Well, here’s the advance payment for tonight and tomorrow. I’ll just go get my dolce and I’ll be on my way.” Cindy smiled beautifully and she dashed upstairs to her room. I looked at Kevin. Somehow, I feel sad for this kid. Both of his parents are workaholics and most of his time are spent with me or sometimes, with Jason if ever he’s in town.

I’ve been taking care of Kevin for a while now ever since I’ve been hold back in high school due to my failing grade. I need to make up for that grade this next school year, but it’s kind of hard for me with Jason away and all I want is talk to him and kiss him.

Cindy came bouncing down the stairs. She gave Kevin one quick kiss then she turned to me, “No party, okay?”

               I nodded, “Of course.”
