Tnt

If your planning a battle with multiple guys bring about a stack of tnt and a red stone torch dig holes and put tnt around you. Make sure you have nothing with you at all except a wooden sword! Say the guys are coming at you have you wooden sword and redstone torch right by each other in your inventory. Have the wooden sword ready to hit someone but right before they kill you place the redstone torch in your baseline tnt its your own death but then you can go collect there stuff and run away!
