The White Wolf's Mate; Chapter Three

I know I've been uploading the chapters very late but I just always have writer blocks and I had to edit the chapters to make it better for you guys! =P

Chapter 3

I looked at myself again in the bathroom, a girl that had on a beautiful pink dress and her hair done in a bun appeared in the mirror, I hope my parents aren't expecting too much from me today. I forced myself to head downstairs, but my legs just won't move a bit. My parents are waiting for me, hurry downstairs, Sophia!

The thought helped a bit, but not a lot. I finally got downstairs and sat down in a seat, hoping that the only thing my parents are expecting today was for me to wear a dress and have my hair in a bun. In front of me was a huge sized sandwich filled with sliced eggs, tomato, cucumber and ham. It was literally bigger than my mouth, did my parents expect me to eat all this? I'm not that hungry!

"Come on eat up! You got to have enough energy for your birthday party!" my mother said with excitement and she went back to her own sandwich. I ate my sandwich in an awkward way, biting the top half of the sandwich first then the bottom slowly. By the time I finish half of my sandwich, my parents were already done with theirs.

"Sophia, hurry up, we don't have all day, in 15 minutes, the guests will probably start to arrive!" my father said impatiently and put his dishes into the sink. I tried to hurry up, but how can I when the sandwich is two inches higher than my mouth?! I forced the sandwich into my mouth, making me choke a little and I tried to swallow the whole thing after I chewed it.

I can't believe that I had to finish the other half of the sandwich in 15 minutes! I rushed the whole sandwich with a few bites and went over to the bathroom to clean my face. I finished washing my facing and dried it with a small towel and brushed my teeth all over again even though I already did early in the morning.

When I turned off the bathroom lights and walked back to the kitchen, my mother made me wear high heels and she said for the whole day. I couldn't believe it, high heels?! I never even wore high heels! I didn't have time to complain to them because before I knew it, the front door bell rang and my parents rushed to get it.

I wonder who was the first guest.

My father slowly opened the door and straighten his suit, a navy black colored suit. The door creak open, showing a tall man with a woman. The man had a dark navy colored suit, his eyes was blue and he had black hair. The woman had on a light blue dress, her eyes was black and she had long smooth black hair. Besides them was....Mr.Annoying!?

I can't believe it, why him?! What does he have to do with my family!?

My father's black eyes stared at the man's blue eyes with respect and my father welcomed them in. "Nice to meet you, Mr....," my father said as he trailed off.

"Mr.Charles and nice to meet you," the man said as he held out his hand, my father and the man shook hands. The family took off their shoes and came into our house, this feels very awkward,I wanted to get away from Nathan or my made up name for him,Mr.Annoying and now he's at my party!? So what's the point of staying home to have a birthday party now!?
