I Love You, I Just Can't Tell You Right Now

Chapter 4

~*~*~Adelyn's POV~*~*~

As soon as Zayn turned around to leave I began sprinting home. He had a gun on him, he could've killed me. I have no other choice but to help him. It's almost as if I'm becoming a part of his gang, instead of my own... 

I arrived home and quickly ran in the door, sweat dripping down my face.

"What have you been doing?" Niall laughed. 

"Oh uh morning jog." I mumble.

"Right.." Niall nodded suspiciously.

I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water. I heard Louis and Liam walk downstairs. 

"Niall, come here." I heard him say faintly.

"Tomorrow morning, before sunrise, we're going to take Malik's gang by surprise." Louis smirked.

"And will Addy be coming with us?" Liam asks. 

"I think it's best she sits this one out." Louis said quietly.

I bit my lip and stared at the piece of paper. Should I call him? I hesitated, but grabbed my phone and ran upstairs to my room. I sat down on the bed and dialed the number. I could hear the ring tone and I tapped my foot on the ground waiting for him to answer.

"Ah, Adelyn.." He said happily. "I knew you'd come around, now what've you got for me?" He asks.

"Well..um.." I started.

"On second thought, meet me at the park in five." He said quickly hanging up.

"Damn it." I said throwing my phone on the bed.

"Whoa, everything okay?" Louis asked walking in.

I nodded "Yeah, I'm just gonna go out for another walk," I say "it's a beautiful day."

"Alright, be safe." He smiles and hugs me.

"Uh..yeah.." I mumble and run out of the house and to the park.

I got to the park relatively quickly and sat on a bench. I felt a hand on my should and I jumped slightly.

"Didn't mean to scare you." Zayn said with a laugh. He sat beside me.

"So," He said putting a hand on my leg. "tell me about your brother's plan?" He says moving his hand up and down my leg.

"It's um..well he uh said that..um.." I stutter, not really wanting to disclose the information.

"Remember our deal.." He whispered, opening his leather jacket to reveal the gun again.

"He said that he's planning a surprise attack on your gang early tomorrow, before sunrise." I said quickly.

"Good girl." He smiled.

"Now, can I go home?" I asked eagerly.

"Well..." He said in thought.

"Come with me." He said grabbing my arm.

"Wha- no!" I yelled.

"Let's not make a scene now darling." He smiled and wrapped his arm around my waist, to make it look as if we were dating.

I bit my lip and let him continue. "Where are you taking me?" I ask casually.

"Back to headquarters." He replied walking to his car.

"No, I have to get home. Louis will worry." I say quickly.

"That's exactly what I want." He laughs.
