I opened my locker and shoved my books in expect the ones I needed for History. I wasn't very good at history. It was the essays I could remember the dates and the names but whenever it came to writing it down I would just fail. Along time ago a teacher had asked if I had been tested for dyslexia, when I said no she called my foster parents at the time and told them I should be test. They simple said that I wasn't going to become anything important in the future so my teacher shouldn't waste her time, and after that she never did.

I walked into history with my head down. I didn't notice the guy right in front of me, and I ran straight into his. I knew it was very cliché but it's the truth. My books went tumbling down. I signed and bent down to get them; the boy had now turned around. "Smooth moves there new girl what's your name?" he said back.

I looked at him he was taller them me with dark eyes and dark hair. I pushed past him and walked to an empty seat. "Hey I'm talking to you" he grabbed me and turned me around. I was way too close to his face for my own comfort. "Back off my little sister dude, unless you want to be road kill." I looked up and suddenly Taylor had materialized out of nowhere. "She's the one that ran into me, she just couldn't resist my manly charms" I scoffed at his stupidity and was very glad that Taylor was behind me. I could feel the anger vibrating off of him. "You little piece of" I turned to look at John who had entered sometime after Taylor. "Hey can I sit next to you" I asked him ignoring the death glares that every boy was giving each other.

"Sure" was all he said but I was hoping over to him. "Later baby girl" the arrogant jerk said as he watch me from across the class room. "Taylor you have a lesson now wouldn't want you to be late" I said sarcastically telling him to go before he beat the crap out of the arrogant jerk "course keep an eye on her for me John this one attracts trouble." I laugh at him as he left the room because it wasn't the first time he had told me this. "As if you never did back in the day Red Hood" I called after his, Red Hood was the name one of the gangs gave him. I never really figured out why by it was while he was being called Red Hood that he had a few run ins with the law. He never got sent away but we did get moved a few times because the foster homes couldn't handle us. I sat down in the chair next to John. He looked at me with questions in his eyes but said nothing. Soon the teacher walked in and started the lesson.

By lunch I had more than enough school for a life time. Everyone was heading in the same direction so I headed that way too, the hall opened up into a huge room filled with tables. Off to the left it looked like you could get food. I was heading that way when I saw Taylor heading for me.
