I walked down the hallways at school, no one looked at me, but I felt them stare when I wasn't looking. My group of friends sat with me, but no one said anything. I wasn't much of a talker since she passed. It has been a few weeks, since Emerald left. I haven't spoken a word since the police office. Today seemed different though, my friends smiled at me when they saw me. "Hey Ash." Michael and Grey smiled and hugged me. Calum, Willa, Luke, and his new girl whose name I don't know quite yet, smiled at me when I sat down at the lunch table. "Why aren't you smiling?" Grey asked, furrowing her eyebrows. "I don't have a reason to." I finally managed. Grey looked at me for a second, "How aren't you happy, Ashton? She's alright." I looked at her. "Grey, your cousin is dead." I said slowly, knowing they were close. She shook her head, "Ashton, that wasn't Emerald. It was her lost sister, Opal. I was called yesterday by my aunt, she had twins, Ashton. Emerald is alive and at her sister's home. They switched places, Ash."
