I can see it as a friendship, but Jasper's ruthless aggression would turn away Sugi. As big as Sugilite's ego is, she's not a villain. (Of course, she's a villainous character but--)

I ship it for the show, but they're so different in the book so, probably not.

Jk I know this was an accident, but they wouldn't be friends at all.
