Chapter 4: My Last Goodbye

Your P.O.V.
It was already high noon. I had already packed my bags with my things. Melody and I were staring at each other in silence. I gave a wry smile. I heard a carriage stop in front of Melody's house.
" Well, I guess this is the last time I will see you for a while. I want you to know that you are my bestie and that I will visit you soon. I promise."

" I know you never break your promises. You're the nicest person that I have ever met in my life. I'm glad that I got to meet such a great girl like you. The guy who wins your heart will be one lucky man. Oh! By the way, if a guy breaks your heart, come and tell me cause nobody is breaking my best friend's heart." Melody chuckled and looked like she was on the verge of tears at the same time.

" Hehe. Trust me I'll come if I want that bitch to pay, don't worry. Maybe sometime in the future we could have our weddings together. That would be the best thing that would ever happen with you." I laughed while giving Melody one last hug before I left.

I got up and took my luggages from Melody's hand. I walked out the door. The first thing I saw was Ciel in front of me. Our faces were just a few inches apart from touching. It looked like he was about to knock on the door when I came out. I finally realized the position I was in and blushed. I clumsily took 2 steps back but when I did I tripped and was falling. I closed my eyes and embraced myself for impact only to noticed that I didn't hit the floor but felt warm, sturdy hands around my body. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Ciel's face right in front of my face AGAIN!

"HOLY SHIT!!!! IM SO SORRY, IM JUST SO CLUMSY LATELY!!!" I apologized feeling embarrassed.

"It's ok. You are more clumsy now than you were before. Hehe" Ciel said with a smirk.
(I'm taking that as an insult. A RUDE one.) " Hey, that's not true. I've actually been more careful ever since I lived with Melody." I replied angrily.

I turned around to look at Melody had her hand over her mouth. Her shoulders were shaking. I gave her my 'WTF WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING' stare. She laughed even more until she calmed down.

"Im sorry, its just that you to look like a couple. And before you leave (y/n), I know he isn't your cousin. I can always read through you (y/n). You should know that. I wish you good luck on your new journey in life. Goodbye, let's stay in contact ok?

"I promise to stay in contact, don't worry ok. We are not a couple, we're just good old childhood friends. I'll miss you. Bye." 

Sorry for not posting lately ive been busy with school and stressed out lately.
