"Ok class tomorrow morning we are going to a field trip to the Metropolitan Museum this is my personal favorite and the most popular museum in New York !" There goes my homeroom teacher again preaching as usual. I slump back down in the chair can't we go somewhere fun for once. The whole class has to go this time and it's going to be so overcrowded, which isn't my thing. Everyone in the class was happy except for me. Old souls, only old people like museums I sighed waiting for the bell to ring. As soon as the bell rung everyone jumped out of their chair like grasshoppers.

"Praise the lord," I said silently to myself, walking out the school entrance.

The Very Next Day

After all that shuffling around trying to find our school lunches we eventually did and we arrived at the museum shortly Angie and I were partners as always. I had to admit it was huge and beautiful, it really did look like it was full of nice exhibits but looks can be deceiving. As we enter the museum I checked out the heroic looking statues that lie ahead of me, there were tons of sections I never really thought about how much the Ancient Egyptians really created I never really listened nor did I care when Angie preached about Egypt's history and all the funny thing is I actually can't believe I wish I listened to her. I mean like I am Melissa for god sakes. As I walked in the museum I felt like a kid at a candy store not sure on which section I should choose I felt like I was walking around drooling over everything like a straight up weirdo. Wait, I am starting to sound like her. "Hello everyone ! My name is Susie and Welcome to the metropolitan museum we gladly welcome you here today feel free to take a look around, please don't touch anything that goes for everyone. Now everyone please follow me to the war section. "

Everyone followed behind the boring and plain tour guide she guided us to the war quarters how they prepared their weapons and etc. her voice was a total bore. All I heard was " Blah Blah Blah" and time seem to be going slow and slower by the minute. But the exhibit caught my eye it was a life size model of how the Egyptians prepared their jewelry. I started to look around in the beautiful sections in the museum. Out of all of the sections why the bloody hell would the tour guide choose that one!

I started to walk to the jewelry section of the museum it was absolutely breath taking. All the section had was gold everything necklaces, bracelets etc. I begin to walk around taking a closer look at the ancient jewelry that surrounded me. I abruptly stopped at Cleopatra's necklace. I say it was my favorite piece because it had gold beetles with the finishing touch of blue gems. The strange thing is it didn't have no guards or a cover. Nothing what's so ever. I am completely lost in this place anyways the hallways are cleared out I'm guessing it's about to close but we just got here. I bet Angie is worried about me well, she has to wait. The necklace appeared to be very fragile of course. Should I wear it or will it fall apart in my bear hands?

Well here goes nothing, I slowly  reached for the necklace I eagerly put the cold and fragile necklace around my neck it was heavy as fuck. I tried to walk away with it I felt a wave of tiredness and unstableness in my legs, my knees started to buckle as if I was going to throw up right then and there. Right before I know it I collapsed on the floor.

My whole body was hot as if it was on fire; I felt like I was in the Sahara desert. I tried to move my body but it felt like it weighed a million pounds and all of my bones ached like hell. I can't do anything but I can hear things and the crazy thing is it sounded like wind was blowing. I tried lifting my eyelids they felt like they were glued to my damn face. What now? I'm suffering through torture now but the worse part is my mouth feels dry like my grandmother's vagina. Ugh.

After a few minutes, which felt like hours, I heard something walking towards me, I was startled by a splash of water on my face. I felt alive again but 3 strong and scary looking men stare down on me as if I was a prey...
