Chapter 5

"What the hell?!" Rose yelled.

They got out of the car and went to the girl, Kayla wanted to play it nicely but visibly Rose thought it would be better to take things differently.

Rose reached for the phone and threw it away, she looked at the girl with angry eyes.

"What the hell is your fucking problem?! Don't you understand that we have a hell of a good reason to say what we told you?! You're so fucking stupid!" Rose yelled at the girl.

Kayla deep down knew that the Hispanic girl was about to do something bad so she took her hand and tried to have her to look at her.

"Rose... Hey... Rose look at me..." Kayla said softly, Rose looked at her.

She saw that she was on the edge of crying because of how mad she was right now. She was breathing harshly but she was slowly calming down because of Kayla.

"Calm down baby..." Kayla said, she pushed herself up on her tiptoes and placed and sweet kiss on Rose's forehead.

The girl walked to get her phone back and once she was close enough to Rose she put her hand on her shoulder and maybe she shouldn't have done that.

Rose felt furious that she would dare and turned around planting her fist right in her cheek.

"Don't touch me!" Rose yelled at the same time.

She felt angry but a wave of guilt took over her very quickly and she put a hand on her mouth cursing.

"Oh lord... Are you ok?" Kayla said reaching for the girl and she placed a hand on her cheek.

"Yeah... Yeah... I'm fine..." She said glancing at Rose with hate. " I just don't get why the fuck you're with that monster..." She said looking back at Kayla.

" wh... She's not a monster! What the hell is wrong with you?? You recorded us kissing! If this ever get release I can say bye to my whole career... But you don't really seem to care obviously! Rose, her, she cares! She cares about me and my career not about the KAYLA not about the KAYLA BACKERFIELD! Don't ever treat her this way again!" Kayla went to her girlfriend and took her hand walking back to the car. 

Kayla entered the car, taking the keys away from Rose, she started the engine and drove fast passing by the supposed to be fan.

Kayla didn't say a word but she looked fine... Pretty happy actually.

Rose looked at her not really understanding.

"Where are we going?" Rose asked softly.

"You want to meet Britt H? Katherine asked me to join her." Kayla said casually.

"Mh... Yes of course..." Rose said taking Kayla's hand. "Are you ok?"

Her voice was full of concerned and she had the right to, Kayla looked happy when she was supposed to be angry or upset...

"Yeah, I'm fine... It was the right thing to do..." She said with a huge smile on her face.

"What do you mean?" Rose said kind of lost.

"I saw someone... At the back, when I was about to give up on giving her an explanation... A paparazzi! He recorded everything... We don't have to hide anymore Rose... I can be yours and you can be mine no matter where we are, even if you're in Miami and I'm in LA we can make people envy us by interacting on social media, we can post picture and we ca-"

"- wait... You mean you said all that because there were a pap a the back?" The way she used her words make her look pretty upset, she was lost with the motivation of the blonde to say what she had said.

" I said it because I wanted them to know how I feel about you... She had no right to treat you like this... And... Now I'll be able to say it even tomorrow at The Ellen Show..." Her smile grew wilder, her life was becoming... Normal but her smile faded when she saw Rose being a little upset.

"Is it for me or for you that you did this? Because it pretty seems like you did it for yourself and the fame...." Kayla stopped the car on the side of the road.

"What? No... I did it for us... I want to be with you... I want to make you happy... I want people to know that you are the one making me happy!"

"But Kayla I was happy! And I'm scared that if people are aware that we are together... We might not be as happy as we used to... It was exciting, to sneak around and to smile widely when people were making assumptions and to deny it... It wasn't that exciting to think that you had to kiss a boy but it was a part of it... It was us... It has always been! Why changing that?"

Kayla was speechless and she was kind of lost, she thought that's what Rose had always wanted. But it clearly wasn't.

"Weren't you happy like we were?" Rose said, her voice was raspy and soft but she looked a little hurt...

"I was.. And I am... You make me happy... I want people to know that I love you! Not Ian or any of those fuckers... It has always been you and I want you to be with me when I'm at a red carpet or when I'm home... I want you to be there at every events... I love you Rose... I want people to know how amazing you are and how proud I am to be yours..." Kayla said on the edge of crying.

she meant every word and every meaning, she was aware that it would change a lot in their relationship but she wanted to take it to the next level... She wanted to say proudly that Rose was hers... She wanted to scream it to the world...

Rose and Kayla were a thing! It wasn't just rumors and looks... It was true!
