Sirah rushed to the place where the shouts were coming from. She stopped before a huge crowd, fighting against the cloaked Warlocks. Sirah's eyes darted around and stopped when she saw Carlyle mutilating a boy. Sirah gasped when she recognized that the boy was Milan. As much as she wanted to enjoy it, she forgot her rivalry against Milan when she saw him writhe in pain.

Sirah neared behind Carlyle and pierced her knife at Carlyle's shoulder at the same place she had stabbed before. Carlyle's scream blended with the echoing chaos around. Sirah rushed to Milan who clutched his head with blood dribbling from his nose. She made him stand and prepared to run when a scythe flung at the tree next to her. Sirah looked back at Carlyle choking and spitting out blood. Carlyle's face wore a permanent grimace as the life slowly left her.

Sirah led out a shaky breath as she clutched Milan and ran away from the chaos. She made him sit under a tree, hidden away from the utter chaos of war. Milan muttered something but Sirah didn't stop and she ran back to look for Mikaela.

The war was indescribable for Sirah. Her eyes saw blood and mangled beings everywhere. A drizzle of blood sprayed on her eyes. She clutched herself as she saw a young boy die in front of her. Sirah swallowed her terror and bent down before the boy. She held his cold hands and closed his lifeless, trepidated eyes. Sirah's mouth twitched when she sensed something behind her. She spun around and transfixed her knife at the Warlocks foot. The warlock fell down screaming in pain. Sirah plunged her knife at the Warlock's ribs and walked away without looking back.

After few moments of searching, she felt restless and desperate to find Mikaela even more. Her searching eyes stopped when she saw Mikaela limping and clutching a tree for her support. Sirah rushed to her side and helped her sit down.

The air was filled with shrilling voids of chaos but everything stood perfectly calm for Sirah as she held her friend's hands tightly as if it would give her life. Mikaela sputtered some blood out from her mouth and looked at Sirah.

Mikaela clutched Sirah's hands and laughed. Loudly.

Sirah couldn't believe it but smile at Mikaela. Even through every pain all Mikaela did was laugh. Their laughs were stopped when they heard the pack of werewolves howl. The howl indicating that all the beings were to reach the Clan grounds. Sirah glanced at Mikaela whose expressions mirrored confusion as hers. She helped Mikaela to stand and held her as they walked together to the clan grounds.

The beings were huddled in a circle, exhausted, hurt and tired. They were all disconsolate. Few Witches rushed to aid Mikaela. Sirah didn't let go off her until a gentle hand was placed on her shoulder. Sirah turned to meet Fereinia. Fereinia held Sirah's hands and led her. Sirah's eyes fell on the lifeless bodies laying before the circled clans. Fereinia let go of her hand as Sirah neared the line of bodies. Her eyes met the beings who lost their loved ones. The sight of the bodies made her nauseous.  Everything stilled when she saw that one corpse. Her breath hitched as she neared the body.

Her father.
