Chapter 4

Livs p.o.v

I cleaned up the mess I made on the floor and threw the cup away in the garbage. I knew just what to do. Who does Maddie treasure the most? Diggy! All I had to do was call him over. Simple right?

Maddie leaves our window open everyday so she can focus better on whatever she does! How didn't I think of this before? Maddie has Diggie wrapped around her fingers. It looks like there's gonna be a new couple in the Rooney household.

Once Diggy got here. We both greeted each other in a really awkward way! Once I figured out how awkward and weird this was I told him about how Maddie wouldn't talk to anyone and how she wouldn't even look at me. He nodded and walked right into our house. I had a feeling he would crack her. She had no reason not to talk to Diggy!
***************************Next day***************************
Maddie still wasn't talking to me. Diggy left. I had no hope anymore that Maddie would crack. I tried everything. Maddie and I were the only people home. Parker and Joey were at some movie festival. Our mom and dad went to an orchestra. Than I thought who does Maddy usually talk to about problems. People scattered through my head. Mom, Me. Than it hit me. Her basketball friends. She talked to her basketball friends about everything. Mostly Willow though I'll just call her.

I don't know why I had Willows number but I happened to have it. Willow picked up on the first ring.

"Liv is Maddie okay? Please tell me she's okay. I think I am hyperventilating." I can't help but giggle at that.

"Willow she's perfectly fine!"

"But...then why are you calling me?" Did Maddie tell Willow about our arguements?

"Well Maddie isn't talking to me, because we got into an arguement, and so will you help me make her talk to me please?" I didn't want to have to beg, but I was going to until, she said yes.
I heard a sigh through to phone. Please say yes please say yes.

"I will try...but I'm not garunteed it will work.." I sighed yes she'll help me! I was so happy she was going to help me...she was being very nice lately!

"Thanks, Willow, please come over asap!" Then I hung up.
I ran downstairs, sat on the couch casually...then I turned on Linda and Heather (Parkers fave show!), and just waited till I heard a knock on the door.
Willow came in under 10 minutes, but she didn't knock, she just walked in without a care in the world!

"Okay so Maddie is at the basketball, court shooting those orange ball things, and she wont be back for about half an hour!" Willow looked bewildered.

"How do you know that?" I knew what I was going to say was going to sound wrong but I said it anyways.

"I may or may not have read her messages," I giggled. Willow gasped. I didn't think she would take it that way, I thought maybe a snort or a laugh, but I didn't think she would gasp.

"I can't believe...oh whatever I did that too before." I giggled, of course Willow would check Maddies phone...wait why would she..?

"Wait why did you check her phone?"

"I thought Diggy was cheating on her.." That explains it. I shushed her as we slowly

walked up the stairs, and into Maddie and I's room. I sat on my bed while Willow sat on Maddie's bed. I stared at her, while she looked bewildered.

"Well.."I said and she still looked confused. "What are your ideas for getting Maddie to talk to me?"

We talked about ideas, for getting Maddie to talk to me for a while, until we finally, picked one. I may've not been good at what I was going to do but I was going to find a way, to be good at it. We had the perfect idea, and this time it would work out.
