Liv and Maddie

Chapter 5-Forgiving and Forgetting

  Maddie's POV. 

 I still haven't been talking to Liv, and it's been....I don't know I have been having to much fun without her. I bet she isn't even bothered that I'm not talking to her...or she probably hates me really mad at me.

  She didn't understand how much Diggy meant to me, and she wont ever know since, he only came over, because Liv told him Joey was stuck in the freaking basketball net.

  Liv ruins everything..ugh I want her out of my life.

She literally had, to call Diggy over, like why Diggy anyways? Couldn't it have been Artie? My sister doesn't understand me anyways...Diggy had to leave for Australia already, I bet he was packing too.

 I had to see him before he left, and make things right, even though my sister, already made things awkward between Diggy and I. Sometimes she just makes me want to kill her, but she does come in handy and I love her!

Now that I think about it, I really haven't been having fun, now that I am not talking to Liv. She's my sister and I am totally ignoring her right now. I shouldn't have been such a bad sister towards, her. But she should know by now that Diggy means the world to me.

I need to make things right whether it means heading to the airport and talking to Diggy or not. Maybe Liv will forgive me and help me get to Diggy. I need to set things straight. I dashed off my bed and down stairs. Seeing Joey sitting on the couch, I ran over to him.

 "Joey where's Liv?" I asked barely even pausing between each word.

 "Outside why?" He asked.

 "Thanks!" I said hugging him and running outside, seeing Liv sitting on the ground. She turned to me and had a frown on her face. "Hey.." I said sitting next to her. She looked at me and I think I saw a small grin.

"Hey." I nudged her with my shoulder. Sometimes I really regret things. I put my arm around her shoulders.

"I need your help with something, if you aren't too mad at me right now.." She looked at me and smiled.

"Of course I'll help, what do you need help with?"

 I told her what I wanted to happen and if she could stall mom, while I went to the airport. I ran inside to get my stuff, but when I went in there Joey of course with him being so nosy was standing by the door.

"What Joey?" I asked rolling my eyes. Liv standing next to me with the same expression.

"I wanna see Diggy to, he's my man." I rolled my eyes again and sighed.

"You aren't gonna move till I say yes are you?" He shook his head. "Fine grab your stuff." I said nudging him while walking in the house. I ran up the stairs and into my room with Liv right behind me. I grabbed my converse slipped them on while grabbing Livs car keys.

"Okay Liv I am pretty sure the parents, are at Wal~Mart so when they get home just say I don't feel good and that I don't want to come down or see either of them, just you, got it?" She nodded, I smiled and hugged her. "Thanks!" Letting go of her I ran down stairs seeing Joey slipping on his shoes. 

"Joey hurry up, or I'm leaving without you." I said opening the door. He finished tying his shoe and followed me outside. Getting into the drivers seat and starting the engine. Here goes nothing. I can't believe Liv passed her drivers test like what the heck. Whatever we're twins anyways who will notice. 

Even though I have glasses and my hair's always up.. okay maybe we aren't look-alikes but this will work out, at least I have to hope. Backing out of the driveway hitting over the recycling bin, I looked back. "Oops." Running over the bin with the car, I pulled out of the driveway. "Get ready it's gonna be a bumpy ride..really bumpy."

 I was driving pretty well except for almost running over a pedestrian. Yeah...I have no excuse. But after twenty minutes of driving we were there. I almost tripped jumping out of the car. 

"Come on Joey we don't have all day geez." I practically ran over all the people that were blocking my way in the airport. 

"Miss where's your plane ticket?" The lady in back of the counter asked. 

"Don't have one, but I'm not getting on the plane so I'll just be a minute, or ten maybe inbetween.

I ran over to the sitting place where everyone was. People were already getting on an airplane. Looking for where it was headed above the door people were walking out of it said 'Australia' in big blue glowing letters.

Seeing Diggy about to walk out I yelled "Diggy!" He turned around and I smiled. Running over to him I gave him a hug. "We need to talk like right now before you go." He looked around.

"Right now?" I nodded, we really needed to talk.

"I think it would be best if we were just friends for now. But you should really express your dreams of being a foreign exchange student okay?" He smiled and nodded.

"We made the far away relationship work last time we should do it again." I smiled, I know I said I wanted Diggy and I to be friends, but when we had a far away relationship it wasn't that bad. We still got to FaceTime, and send each other presents.\

"I know, I really like you, but, what if it doesn't work out?" He thought for a second.

"We'll make it work out got it?" I smiled he held my face really close to his. 

"Got it, now I think you need to get on a plane," he smiled and gave me a quick kiss.

"Bye Rooney." I smiled at that I loved when he called me that.

"Bye Diggy." He let go of me and with one last wave he left. I guess we were still together, that stress building up inside of me was gone and now, I just needed to find a way to get in the house without my parents seeing Joey or me. 

That reminded me, JOEY. I looked around seeing Joey just pass the counter out of breath. 

"Where were you Joey?" He held up a finger still out of breath. Man that kid needs to be more athletic. He is like one big giant noodle, he can't do anything.

"The girl at the counter wanted..to see my ..plane ticket." He said between big breaths. I laughed walking passed the counter, waving at the lady. 

"Thanks, bye.." I said walking out the door. "Joey come on." He ran over to me.

"I didn't even get to see my man." He said, I just laughed.

"Don't try to get too upset, you don't want people in public to see you cry!" He just looked at me offended, what could I say I'm humoress. 

This was gonna be a long drive home.
