Chapter 2

 CHAPTER 2 FINDING THE PACK!

I landed in the other world with a hard thud. 'I had to get out of here and find ross' I thought. I stood up and looked around, I saw what looked to be a slum from africa. I seen a boy and automatically ran to him.

"Um excuse me but can you help me please?" I asked as tears flowed down my face.

"Yea um first who are you?" he asked and I tried to wipe my face to introduce myself.

"My name is Karma Magie Hughes." I said and he stared almost in shock.

"I'm Karter Hughes."

My heart stopped as he had the same name as me
(almost). I just stood there before all seemed to go dark.

I woke up to see Karter holding me, a rag on my forehead in a decent house compared to the rest of it. A girl who looked so much like Ross stood next to him.

"Ross?" I said weakly and the girl only replied by shaking her head.

"No her name is Rose Mrs.Karma."

"Just Karma...wheres Ross?"

"I'm sorry but we don't know who your talking about." he smiled trying to comfort me, I just burst into tears uncontrollably.

"I need to find Ross." I kept saying over and over again. Karter held me close as I cried. 'I need to open the portal and get him back!' I thought. I jumped up to grab my bag for my materials, I grabbed them and tried to set up a portal like I had done. It was hard to do as my eyes were glazed by tears. Rose brought up a rope staring at Karter.

"That might work..if you're crazy.." he said and I looked over.

"What might work?"

"She wants to jump in with the rope around her waist to find this Ross person."

"If anyone is going to it's going to be me! He's my friend and it's my fault he's gone!" I yelled.

i grabbed the rope and quickly tied it around my waist. karter took the other end and tied it down to something. i told rose what to do and she opened the portal. i jumped in and started to look around. i seen him and i called out to him in the silence.

ROSS'S P.O.V.

I was completely hypnotised by my surroundings. My fascination of parallel universes had taken me on an adventure. I heard a voice and looked over to see the most beautiful woman I ever met float away. I tried to yell back but I was incapable of it. I was forced to watch as my dear karma floated away through a hole and as soon as she disappeared I was alone. The wormhole closed and I was stuck here in the plane of infinite time.

Not long after I was stuck my dear karma came for me. I reached out my hand and it seemed she made my voice work. She got as close as she could her hand only a foot away from mine as I drifted but I was unable to push myself to her.

"Karma get longer rope to get me and please hurry. I don't want in here anymore. Please!" I said and she nodded pulling the rope softly. She drifted away from me and I could see the pain in her eyes as she did. I was left alone again. The pain in her eyes showed she was not wanting to go back, but she had to. My eyes were watering up. I didn't want to loose her again or ever for that matter. Yet that had happened twice now; what in the name of all is right keeping us away from one and other?

KARMA P.O.V

I left ross in the space between time and returned Rose and Karter still there.

"I need longer rope! More I can just barely reach him!" I yelled crying.

"Karma calm down. We might be able to get you in farther...it'll take some time." Karter said a slight pain in his voice.

"Karter what's wrong?"

"My mom...she's gone...Rose stayed to keep the portal open for you as I said my last goodbye."

"Karter...I'm so sorry." I said, quickly hugging him and holding him close. Rose stood and placed a hand on Karters back like Ross always did for me.

In that moment it hit me.

"That's it! This is the opposite of my world! Your mom was weak as mine is healthy, My friend talks so much it can get annoying and Rose doesn't speak at all. This is so cool!" I said a smile on my face. Rose and Karter gave me the WTF face.

"Heh I'm sorry. Other worldly logic is majorly complicated. I just need to get a longer rope, Ross needs it."

They nod and quickly went to go get more rope a few more feet from a different way. Rose got set up to open the portal one last time for Ross and we tied off the rope as strong as we could. The portal opened but was extremely unstable.

"Karter why don't you help her?"

"How?"

"By sitting behind her and focus all your energy to Rose."

"Ok." arter said and started adding energy to Rose stabilizing the portal. I jumped in and saw Ross sitting looking towards where I was. I reached out to him and I saw him smile. He reached out and I finally reached out and grabbed his hand pulling him close.

"Its unstable if we have them pull us back."

"That's ok, I can pull."

He grabbed the rope and wrapped his arm around my waist and started pulling the rope, pulling us to the portal. i smiled as we got back to the opposite dimension. he smiled seeing his twin. i hugged rose and karter.

"i think we should explore this world before going home." ross said i simply nodded and smiled.
