The next morning, Regina woke up before Emma like usual, but this time instead of waking her, Regina went to the café down stairs to get some coffee for her and Emma as well as a grilled cheese for Emma, her favorite. By the time Regina got back, emma was lying awake in bed staring at the tv. "Hey Em!" Regina said rushing in to kiss her. "Hi Gina." She said with a smile. Emma noticed the two cups of coffee in Regina's hands and reached for one. Regina handed Emma a cup and she chugged it down. "Oh god I haven't had coffee in months!" Emma said laughing, then Regina tossed her a paper bag. Emma caught it, opened it, and smelled the grilled cheese. Regina sat down next to Emma Who smiled and immediately took it out of the bag. She bit into it hungrily. Regina couldn't help but laugh. "What?" Emma asked when she stopped chewing. "You eat like a child." Regina laughed, "technically, I am still a child." Emma said back. "Hmm... That's interesting cause the last time I checked, children can't have kids!" Regina laughed. Emma lightly punched her in the arm. " I haven't slept that well in months!" Emma said happily. "And that will probably be the best sleep you get for the next year." Regina laughed. Emma groaned with a smile. Then a nurse came in and carried Ava and Henry into the room. The girls smiled seeing Ava and Henry happily awake. Emma held Henry and Regina held Ava. They both smiled down at the smiling gurgling babies. "You will be released this afternoon. Do you have everything you need?" The nurse asked. "Yes thank you." Emma said and the nurse walked out of the room. "Shit we forgot the car seats!" Emma said "it's okay, I'll call Kathryn to get them." Regina said still smiling at Ava. She handed Ava to Emma and called Kathryn. After a minute, Regina picked up Ava again and sat down on the bed next to Emma. "She looks just like her." Regina said sighing. Emma swung her legs around Regina and sat up next to her with Henry in her arms. Emma rested her head on Regina's shoulder and looked at Ava with a big smile. "Why did you name her Ava?" Regina finally asked. "Well, after you told me the story about your sister, it broke my heart to hear that someone so cruel would take the life of someone as innocent as a child. I knew right away that if I had a daughter, I'd name her Ava." Emma said with a smile. A tear ran down Regina's face and Emma kissed her. Just then they saw a flash of light and they immediately broke away. Emma's mom had walked into the room and taken a picture of the perfect moment. "How's my girl?" Her mom asked with a smile on her face. "I'm good momma. I'm surprised you're back so soon!" Emma smiled back. "They let me come back immediately when I told them you were having twins." Her mom answered. Her mom sat down on the bed next to Regina and wrapped an arm around the two girls. She looked down at Ava and smiled. "So what's her name?" Her mom said smiling at Regina. "Ava." Regina replied. "How'd she get that name?" She asked. "Mom!" Emma said under her breath and glared at her mother. "Sorry." Her mom said sympathetically. Regina sighed and looked at Emma. "Em it's okay. I'm okay." Regina said. "I had a younger sister named Ava. She... She... Uh..." Regina said stumbling over the words as tears rolled down her face. "It was her birthday and my dad promised her a stuffed pony as her birthday present. They went to toys r us and right as they walked out, they were shot and killed. I was always bullied in school, and Ava was always so cheerful and managed to make me smile, she was my shining star..." Regina cried. Emma and her mom hugged Regina tightly. "Oh baby I'm so sorry I asked." Her mom said sadly. Regina wiped her tears away with her shoulder and shrugged. "You would have found out sooner or later." Regina said looking down at Ava who was now asleep. "I named her Ava, because that story broke my heart. I don't know what I would have done if that was me. Some how Gina managed to pull through, and now she's my shining star." Emma said with a big smile before kissing Regina who kissed her back. "So when's the wedding?" Her mom asked. We all laughed. "Mom we've only been engaged for a little over 24 hours and we've been here the whole time!" Emma laughed. "Besides we still have to graduate." Regina said. Just then Kathryn came in carrying the car seats. "Hi kat!" Emma said. "Hey Em, Gina. How's everything going?" Kathryn asked. "Good. Ready to take my family home." Emma said happily. "Speaking of home... Ms. Swan, you are free to be released." The nurse said with a smile. Emma got off the bed and gently put Henry in the car seat and strapped him in. Regina did the same with Ava. Emma's mom handed Emma her clothes and Emma ran into the bathroom to change. She came back after a few minutes laughing. "This shirt is way too big for me!" She said. They all laughed. The nurse came back out with some forms to fill out before they left. On the way home, Emma sat in the back seat between the two sleeping babies, while Regina drove home. They pulled up in the driveway of Emma's house and opened the back door to carry Ava while Emma unstrapped henry and carried him in. They opened the front door, and everything was eerily quiet. They flipped on a light switch and that's when everyone jumped out and yelled surprise. Emma and Regina looked at each other before shushing the crowd, everyone from school seemed to be there, even some of the teachers and the principal. They laughed as Emma and Regina carried in their prince and princess. They were shocked to see how nice the house looked. It was all nicely decorated with pink and blue streamers and balloons. "Wow! This is awesome guys! Thanks!" Emma said happily. Regina smiled at Emma. They partied for an hour or so before they had cake. Kathryn handed Emma and Regina a big yellow envelope that was extremely thick. Emma and Regina looked at each other before Emma took it from Kathryn. Emma ripped the top open and gasped. She dumped the contents out on the table. Hundreds of bills flew out. Regina gasped. "The whole school pitched in and even some people from granny's."Ruby said as Emma counted the money. When Emma stopped counting, tears filled her eyes and he went around hugging everyone. The total amount was almost $11,000. Regina smiled at everyone. "Thank you all so much!" She said. Then the school principal came up to them. "I wanted to let you know Emma, Killian has been expelled. We all wanted to help you, and we knew that an 18 year old with twins wouldn't be able to do this alone." She said with a smile. "Luckily for me, I'll never be alone. She has her swan, and I have my queen." And Emma passionately kissed Regina.
