"Wait, stop! Why are you dragging me around with you. I... I don't even know you." my voice was shaky, i really didn't know his intentions or worst I have no idea who this guys is for sweets sakes.

"Well you seem like you are having a rough day, so I'm going to listen." he smiled at me warmly, which make me more confused.

"Listen to what? I'm not going to pour my heart out to some stranger. Like i said I don't even know you, for all i know you just want to rape me, murder me or just sale me like a sex slave..." 

"What! Listen girly you have a big imagination." he said amusingly.

"No, no I really don't, I just find hard to believe that someone will take a sudden interest in a stranger." a said trying to back away from him.

"Well if it make you feel better, I'll show you mi ID, I'll show you my phone, my passport, even my Facebook profile, so you can relax, Im not trying to kill you or none of those nonsense... you know what forget it, i don't know why i care..."

"Wait.. no you are right I do need somebody to listen to me." i said defeated.

At this point we had reach a little coffee shop two blocks down the campus. He ask for coffee and croissant. He pull out my chair and sat down, we stare at each other for a while, until the counter lady came with out order.

"So..." he trailed. "What's wrong?"

"Everything."

"Ok..."

"Im sorry i had been rude to you, but Im not having a good day."

"Im Alex Bradford by the way, what's your name? I feel like i know you already, but a name will be good." he said staring directly into my eyes. To tell you the truth that was kind of scary, the feeling that his stare gave me was scary, not horror movie scary, just skip a heart beat scary.

"Im Chloe... Chloe White."

"I like it, it suits you."

"Thanks."

" So now that we know each other better, can i ask, why are you having the worst day ever?, I mean a pretty lady like you should be smiling, specially in New York City, this city is magic!" Alex said laughing.

"Well you see, i missed housing and dorm assigning day. So now Im practically like a lost puppy with no owner."

"Like a lost puppy with no owner?"

"Yes i don't have a place to live, no room, no dorm, classes start tomorrow, and I'm homeless! What Im going to do? I cant go back home, that's what my parents expect from me failure, I can't but I guess... I have no other option." Tears start forming again and I don't know why I start sobbing and crying yet again. I felt embarrassed that he was watching me while I was being a cry baby, but i couldn't help it.

"Well... Chloe, since we are friends now... I guess... guess" Why is he shuttering words. "Well i think i can help you with your tiny dilemma. You see me and my 6 brothers have a house around campus, we aren't the cleanness guys in the world, but you can stay with us." he said kind of doubting himself.

"What... no no no... how can I. No I couldn't."

"Yes you can."

"But 6 brothers, all guys with just me? Wouldn't that be weird?"

"Would you rather be homeless? Besides I own the house, he have a basement room that's empty and my brothers and I...."

Yes, yes there's the catch, i knew to good to be truth. Nobody gives you anything without expecting anything in reverse anymore.

"Well my brother and I could use the help around the house. What do you say?"

"Alex, I think I'm going to regret this. But i have no other option, so i say Yes!"

"Great, my and my brothers would love to have you around. No finish your coffee, wipe those tears and let's get going to your new home"

Somehow i think I'm going to regret my decision, but at this point Alex seems like a decent guy, with an empty room, a place that i can stay until i figure something out. For the time been I'm just going to go along with this plan, but keep my eyes on this brothers, i don't want to be the next campus murder news on Dateline.
