~Winds of Change Bring Hurricanes~

Chapter 1: A new beginning.

It was a beautiful morning in happy tree town, the sky was all shades of pink, purple, blue, and orange as the sun slowly made it's way up in the clouds. The birds were chirping a peaceful song as the cool nights breeze blew swiftly along the dew covered grass.

Cuddles, a tall thin boy, about 17, slowly stretched and yawned as his blue eyes opened to greet the beam of sunlight coming in through the window.
'Morning already?' He thought to himself as he slipped into his fuzzy pink bunny slippers and yellow rabbit-eared hoodie. He didn't bother taking off the purple skinny jeans and black t-shirt he had worn the day before, so he decided to just comb down his blonde bed head and brush his teeth before going to wake up his best friend Toothy.

Toothy was a boy not much younger than Cuddles. He too was tall and thin, with purple hair and amethyst eyes. He was also still wearing his clothes from the day before, black jeans and a purple hoodie with black and purple checkered socks.

Toothy and Cuddles, the blonde bunny loving boy, had shared a house together for the school year. They had been best friends since the first grade, and did almost everything together.

However, their super hero twin neighbors, Splendid and Splendont were quite the opposite when it came to closeness. Splendont was a tall, well built boy with cherry red hair and crimson eyes. He wore a red jacket, a blue mask, and blue skinny jeans. Splendid was a mirror image of his twin brother with blue hair and crystal blue eyes. He wore a blue jacket, with red skinny jeans, and a red mask.

"Ah great," Said Cuddles looking out the window into the yard next to them. Splendid and Splendont were arguing over who had woken up first.
"Splendy and Dontsy are at it again..."

"I swear Cuddles, every time you say 'Dontsy' I think of doughnuts." Replied Toothy, who was now sitting on the couch.
"Hungry now?" The blonde boy teased as the purple haired boy stared at the window, thinking of doughnuts.
"I'm starving!" He replied dramatically. The blonde then grabbed his wallet and skate board and motioned for the other boy to grab his own skate board.
"Let's go get some doughnuts for breakfast at Giggle's café." He smiled as the other boy happily agreed. As they walked outside they were greeted by the sound of bickering coming from the hero twins along with the birds frantically searching for earplugs.
"Morning guys!" Said Toothy and Cuddles as the heroes waved to them. Soon Flippy had walked up behind the two friends headed to breakfast...

"I wonder why the bicker so much?" They heard the voice of their friend Flippy ask from behind them. Flippy was a tall well built green haired boy with emerald eyes. He wore army clothes with a set of dog tags around his neck.
"I have no idea Flips." sighed Cuddles as he looked back at Flippy.
"You guys headed to get breakfast too?" He smiled to the blonde haired boy. By now Toothy was zoned out on the thought of doughnuts, and didn't realize that they were almost to the café,
"Yep! Wanna join us?" Grinned Cuddles.
"Sure!" Said Flippy happily looking to the purple haired boy whining in front of them.
"When will we be there?" Moaned Toothy as his stomach growled again.
"We're almost there bro, just hold on to the the door Jack and don't let go!" Teased the blonde as the green haired boy chuckled.
"It's just up ahead past that moving van."

They all then stopped.
"Moving van?" They said in unison.

Suddenly, a beautiful young girl, about 16, stepped out of the car. She had long spiky red hair that was covered in white flakes, with crimson eyes. She was wearing a tight red sweater dress and black stockings that reached her thighs. Flippy stood there with wide eyes, looking closely at the girl. The other two boys noticed his stare and chuckled before speaking.
"That's Flaky." Said Cuddles as Toothy smirked.
"She must be moving back!" Toothy added. The two then explained that Flaky had gone to stay with a relative for a while. Flippy, only living here for 6 months, had yet to see the girl. "So, ya wanna go say hi?" Chimed Toothy as he winked at the blonde boy who was still chuckling.
"I-I better not." Said Flippy as he put his hands into his pockets. "Oh come on Flips, let's go see if she needs help with those boxes!" Said Cuddles with a playful grin.
"Alright." Mumbled the defeated soldier with a small smile. 'Control yourself Flips' He heard a dark voice chuckle in the back of his mind...
