They kissed each other continuously over again. They've never been so happy in their lives.
Is this really happening, Bex thought. Does my boyfriend actually have cancer? Am I dreaming or is this real life? What do I say? What do I do? I'm lost needless to say. I really hope he is ok. I just want my Colby back.
"How is Colby Doctor?" Bex says
"He is fine.....for now." Dr. Calder replies. "We should get the test results in 1 more week. You are more than welcome to stay at the hospital with Colby until we get the results."
"Yeah I think that's a very good idea. I will take my mom home and then I'll be here. Colby, I'll be back, I'm dropping my mom off at home. It will only take 1 hour. I will try and be back in less than an hour."
"See you later baby. Love you blows kiss to Bex." Colby says to Bex. So Bex heads out the door and gets In her car. Her mother follows. She rushes home as quick as possible. On her way back to the hospital, Bex gets some lunch for her and Colby. When she gets there, Colby is sitting in the room watching T.V.
"Hey baby I'm back. I brought us lunch. It's your favorite, Taco Bell."
"You know me so well Bex. So what did you get me this time?"
"Well I got you a Taco Supreme and a Large Coke. And I got a Large Diet Pepsi and Nachos. This is the first thing I will eat all day. I didn't have time to eat breakfast. So how was your morning?"
"My morning was very productive. The doctors put so many I.V. tubes on me and it was making me sleepy. So I slept for most of my morning. I woke up 20 minutes before I woke up." Bex could tell that Colby barely had sleep at all being here at this hospital. But she will make sure he gets sleep tonight.
