Be who you are and never let someone change you because they don't like themselves.

I watched as my father took my brother out to hunt. He would never ever take me out. Why? Because I was his little human girl. That's why. He thought I was to fragile and of nothing to use.
A human in a pack of wolves? Yep that was me, well at least they thought I was human until the pack doctor confirmed that I indeed had a wolf, she was just deep in a slumber depression or something like that.
I sighed a little as i heard my dad come down stairs and bang on my room door. "Useless human bitch?" He called out to me. Mean and rudeness.
He knocked again. "Come help your mother, until your wolf can shift you are considered human." He spoke. I watched as he left. He actually sounded sad. Shrugging I got up and started up the stairway into the kitchen where I seen my mom.
"Here. She spoke. Cut up those potatoes and celery and put them in the pot." I nodded and started. Cutting up the foods quickly I had them boiling up.
"Hey fatass." My cousin snarled.
I turned to him and giggled. "You just mad cause I'm curvy. Don't hate." I laughed a little. This was our inside joke. He smiled and hugged me. I hugged back and skipped off to my room. Showering and standing in the mirror I slipped on some white shirts and a blue tank top, no my body wasn't the greatest but at 5'4 and a half I wasn't huge. I had a ton of curves though. I loved myself still.
I lotioned my skin and put on my sandals walking downstairs I soon felt the ground move as I heard a huge explosion. Running from the stairs outside I screamed seeing rouges attack who ever the could. Seeing my father fighting I soon picked up anything I could and took out whoever wasn't apart of my pack.
Running around the back I screamed when I saw one of the girls get her leg ripped off. My heart felt like it was going to explode as I watched her die.
"Erin!!" My name was being called. I turned around to seeing my mother as she was holding my cousins head up as he breathed in. He had a piece of glass shoved into his side. My eyes filled with tears as I ran over to them.
"Hear hold his head as I pull this out." She spoke.
I nodded and did as she said. His Screams of agony filled the air and he held my hand, making a tourniquet out of my shirt and belt, I pulled him to a bush behind a tree and stayed with him.
I prayed for help, as much as possible but when the second fire broke out, I knew it was over.
We had just lost our home and half our pack.

"So what do we do now?" John asked as he looked over at his daughter Jae. She had her head between her legs as tears flowed from her eyes. Her cousin, brother and his mate were all killed. They had all been taken away from her.
"We have to call the neighboring pack and tell them what has happened so far, they are our allies so we will get some help." Beta Ryan spoke and went on his way to do so.
"Anita, take Erin upstairs and do not, by any means let her out of that room, we've lost 3 already, she's our last and we shall not lose her also."
Taking her mothers hand she followed his orders without a sound walking in the room she shut the door, locked it and fell asleep.

"Alpha?" Ryan spoke.
"Yes." I answered.
"Alpha Gabriel and his Beta will be here tomorrow in the after around noon, he says to pack up all of what's left and we will be moving with them."
Alpha John nodded his head and called for a pack annoucement, once everyone who was left came to, he spoke loudly and very clear.
"My dearest pack, Today we have suffered far more losses than other pack known to man, yes we are all sad but it will not bring back the lives of our loved ones that were taken from us. Tonight we will bonfire of remorse and grieve but tomorrow morning we rise and pack what is left. Tomorrow we shake off the dread and we move around noon with the River Pack, and we will never forget our loved ones but we will move on."
A few heads nodded and tears had fallen to the ground. Sadness invoked the place but there was nothing to be done.
"Tonight we pack our belongs and at 11:30 we bonfire for the dead. Meet in the yard and we will gather sticks an send prayers up. " he spoke.
"Understood Alpha." A warrior spoke strongly.
He nodded and everyone scattered to follow the orders.
-11:30- Bonfire
Everyone grabbed a stick and chipped in making a huge bonfire, tossing in what the could they spoke prayers into the air, softly.
Once the air was lifted of remorse and sadness everyone reported to bed and was to be up at 8 am sharp for breakfast, the last breakfast they would ever have in their own pack house.

"So what are we going to do about the new pack coming in Alpha?" Jennifer the pack nurse asked.
Gabriel smiled a little at the small petite lady, her mate was his bestfriend and Omega Charles.
"Honestly, we are going to help in the best way possible Layla, I promise that. They have always helped us and we will do the same."
She nodded and smiled. "I also have a feeling." She spoke.
He looked back at her. "A feeling of what?"
"Well, that something good will happen to you that cause a great joy." She answered him.
"Is that so Layla?"
She nodded. "Yes sir."
A smile played on his lips as he walked away from her. He knew she was right, she definately had this funky intution when it came to things like that, she was never wrong either.
Shrugging as he got to his room he opened the door to see the pack slut waiting on his bed half naked, disgust filled him in ways that only meant the worst.
"Shana?" He alpha voice begin to sink in.
"Yes Alpha?" Her voice squealed although she tried to sound sultry and sexy.
He laughed a throaty laugh.
"Get the fuck out, and please give up on trying to seduce me. Why would I want to falter my repetation on a waste of filth like you."
He voice was laced with venom and his was slightly annoyed with her. Grabbing her by her hair he snarled in her face as he tossed her out of the room.
"Stay out or when I do find my mate, I will have het beat your ass."
He closed the door in her face and showered.
As he laid down ready for the next day, he thought about Layla's words.
