Summary (real one) : Adira, the bullied black girl in a black school, only because she's 'different'. She didn't wear Jordan's or Brazilian weave or bragged about her body. She was just... her.
Then 'Carter fucking Randolph motherfucking Sanchez' (as Adira calls him) comes along, changing everyone's view on Adira either for the good or worse.
IMO: This book is the BOMB! I guess because, my real skin color is black and I can TOTALLY relate to this book.
Yeah, I went to a ghetto school. I 'fell in love' with a boy and he rejected me toward the end of the year which left another scar on me. But, I handled it and stuff.
Adira is my homegirl because, she acts like a black girl but, talks and kinda have the mentality as a white one tbh. Adira is a strong character and if I was in that situation, I would've done the same thing honey. Except with the cheating, work it out people!
Carter.... To be honest, he sounds hot as hell. If he was real, I would've done so much to him... OK LET'S CONTINUE! Carter is a nice character but, he should've understand that girls have feelings that he needs to respect and since he wasn't serious about that relationship... it didn't work out and both parties was cheating.
All in all, Carter and Adira was meant for each other. Not Adira and Z fuckboi. Not Carter and that chick he was messin with. Carter and Adira all day baby!
Ok, this book in all, I was surprised that this 'urban' book had the neatest grammar in all of Wattpad. Great structure and good plot. I can tell she takes her dear time to do each chapter and even makes sure the haters on check. If I would've met the author irl, she would be my bff.
This rating would be awesome, great book gurl!
Grade: A+++++ (Keep up the good work!)
