Wounds to be healed

New beginning

"Wake up or your going to be late for your first day of school." My aunt yelled at me from my doorway. I grunted and rolled over. Just thinking of school made me want to vomit. I was 14 and it was my first year of high school and I was a new student at Wallace High School at Aceville.
"Katelynn Lexi Autumn, you better get out of that bed or so help me i'll....."
"You'll what?" I interupted. "Throw me off my bed? Or dump cold water on my face? You know I dont ever feel threatened by those kinds of things."
"Whatever", my aunt, Renee says after having a laughing fit. "Just be ready in 10 minutes." As she walked back to her room I rolled out of bed and went to the bathroom. After changing, brushing my teeth I sat on my toilet. I grab my phone and take off my cover. Sitting in my cover lay my beautiful blade. I put the cover and phone on the counter and rolled up my jacket sleeve. I flipped my wrist over and cut three nice cuts on my wrists. I cut just deep enough for it to bleed. I jump as I hear a quick knock on the door. "Katelynn, you have two more minutes to be ready or I will break down this door and drag you by your hair."
"Yes maam I am coming" I say as I put my case back on on my phone and then put the blade in the case. I roll down my sleeve and get my backpack out of my room. I race out of the house and find my aunt already in the car.
The car ride was silent so I stared out at the scenery. It has been a year since my mom... God, it hurts just thinking about it.
As my aunt pulls into the parking lot she wishes me luck. I thank her while rolling my eyes. I shut the door and watch her leave. I realized then that I was alone and I knew nobody here. That was when I officially started freaking out. I am about to turn around when a guy riding a skateboard runs into me from behind and we both topple over with him on top of me. "I am so sorry." Says the mystery boy who knocked me over. Man, that voice was sexy. I decided to turn around to confront the boy and when I turn around I freeze. Thats when I first laid eyes on him.
