Chapter 58 - Deeper right?

"Kaeru's POV"

~Everything was usual, but when I say that.... There will always be some things that aren't, Toujima apparently is absent since he got a fever

"Toujima got sick?" –Yoshi

"Yeah" I replied

"Hmm, things are different without him around, I hope he'll get well soon" Kouji said, we were walking around school and suddenly met up with Shun, Lou and Furuya

"Hey everyone Lou greeted

"Yo" –Kouji

"What are you guys up to?" I asked

"Were just bored so we were just walking around" –Shun

"Guess what we found along the way" –Furuya

"What's that?" Yoshi asked

"It's a keychain!" –Furuya

"It has a name on it, it belongs to a guy named Yuuma, we should probably return it to him" Lou said

"Ah, I know him, he's the sempai who wears glasses.. You know the nerdy one?" –Kouji

"Oh him.." I said

"Thanks, now we know" –Lou

"We should probably get going now" –Furuya

"Wait... Two of you are missing.." –Shun

"Where's Toujima and Naiji?" Lou asked

"Naiji said he's hanging out with someone (I wonder who this 'someone' is though) and Toujima is not feeling well right now, he has fever" I said

"Too bad, do send him our regards" –Shun

"I hpe he gets well soon" –Lou

"See ya!" –Furuya

"Okay!" –Yoshi, we all waved to each other as they left

"Hey I know a new shop that just opened yesterday where they sell manga and comics, let's go there later!" –Yoshi

"Cool" –Kouji

<Later during soccer practice>

"Kaeru, I'm open!" –Arum-sempai

"Right!" I immediately passed the ball to captain, few minutes later we took a break, 'til Kuronoya suddenly approach me, crap, didn't I tell him to stay away from me? I immediately walk away trying to avoid him

"Kaeru! Please stop avoiding me!" –Kuronoya, he hasn't approach and spoke to me for a period of time already, but why does he have to right now? I really can't! I feel guilty for doing this but I have to do this

"Kaeru-kun! Please let me talk to you for a sec! I have something important to tell you" No... I can't listen to hi, it's for the sake of my nii-san

"It's Ryomaru who told you to avoid me right?" I suddenly stopped walking, how does he know? He knows my nii-san?

"You don't have to avoid me anymore Kaeru.. Please.." Kuronoya said sincerely, that can't be...

"I-I'm so sorry sempai" I apologized, I feel so guilty

"It's okay Kaeru-kun.. Will you talk to me?"

"Y-yes" I replied hesitantly

"Is it because of your nii-san?" He asked

"Yes" I nodded

"Souka... *sigh*, Kaeru, do you even have an idea why you're doing this?"

"No" I have no idea at all, I'm clueless...

"Remember that time I told you I had a boyfriend?"

"Yes" I don't know what else to do but nid, I feel deoressed...

"It was your nii-san.. Ryomaru was my ex" I suddenly lift up my head and looked at Kuronoya

"I-I never knew" I was speechless

"It's no wonder why you remind me so much of him, you two are very much alike... I kinda missed him.. I wish I could talk to your brother once more, I wanted to make up to him" It suddenly made me remind of Kuronoya's words when he talked about him without me knowing it was my very own brother, those words he said were very sincere..

"I got it.. Sempai, I'll make you talk with Ryo-nii" I smiled, I honestly missed talking to Kuronoya-sempai, I want the two of them to get along together, I'm getting tired with all the mess I'm going through these days

"R-Really?" –Kuronoya

"Yes" I guess I don't really have to avoid Kuronoya-sempai anymore as long as Ryo-nii won't know for the time being

<Later at home>

Ryo-nii and I were both just watching TV together, I kinda wanted to ask him about many things particularly between him and Kuronoya-sempai but I think it's the best if I keep my mouth shut, we suddenly heard a knock at our doorstep

"Kaeru, could you get it?" –Ryomaru

"Roger that" I said I immediately went to see who it was, it knocked again

"Be right there!" As I opened the door I got shocked when it was Toujima, he suddenly collapsed, I immediately caught him by my chest

"T-Toujima?!" I exclaimed, I immediately brought him in, even Ryo-nii was surprised especially why at this time in the very late afternoon

"Why are you here? You're still sick, shouldn't you be at home right now?" I said, Ryomaru checked his temperature by his neck

"Yep, he has high fever alright, how was he able to get here?" Ryomaru said

"Please let me stay here.. I don't wanna stay home" Toujima said

"Geez, I worry about you a lot, you can stay" I replied

"Thanks.." Toujima suddenly falls asleep, I slowly placed him on the sofa, Ryomaru helped me

"I hope he gets well sooner, I wonder why he came here all of a sudden" –Ryomaru

"Yeah" I said, I then went to feed Gangnam for awhile, when it was bed time I gave Toujima a blanket, he might get cold

"Ryo-nii, I'll sleep here and take a look on Toujima" I said

"Make sure you sleep well" –Ryomaru

"Okay"

<The next day>

It was a sunny Saturday, Toujima ended up sleeping until the next morning and he got already all better, he must be hungry.. I wonder if he ate dinner last night

"Sorry to bother you Kaeru, Ryomaru-san" Toujima said

"It's no big deal" I replied

"You'll always be welcome here" –Ryomaru

"Thank you very much" –Toujima

"I gotta leave now" Ryomaru said

"Take care" I said, he then left

"Where is Ryomaru-san going?" Toujima asked

"Ryo-nii has a part time job" I replied

"Oh"

"So, what brought you here yesterday? You surprised me, coming all of a sudden like that" I said

"I just wanted to see you, that's all.. Haha" Toujima said

"Eh? You're parents must be really worried" I said, but it feels like he's hiding something from me though
