"Ok, First Round... Jamie vs Larry. Jamie you're up!" The announcer calls out as the crowd circles around the dance floor. I grinned happily. Sure both jamie and I knew we wouldn't beat them in a dance battle.
The fact that we're given a chance to is freaking amazing.
I watched as she showed off her moods, having the crowd go wild at times. Best part? Larry was grinning the whole time she was watching her!
"Alright! Next round...Kyra vs Laurent!" The announcer said and the crowd cheered. Obviously because it was Laurent that was called.
I froze, 'My turn? Already?'
No, no, there's no way I'm good enough to do this! What if I trip and make a mess out of myself? What if.... What if Laurent laughs at me?!?! "Kyra, where you at?" I bit my lip and ran out the closest exit I saw, pushing past some people. The door slammed right behind me, and the music had left the air.
