Walking through the halls Monday morning De'Asia and Mariah couldn't wipe these big goofy smiles on their faces. "Ummm can I know whats these smiles are about?" I frowned wanting to be in the loop. "Where were you Saturday?" De'Asia smirked holding her books up to her chest. "At Nathaniel's baby shower, I told you girls this already" I said in confusion. Where the hell they were going with this ? "Okay and where you went after that?" Mariah snickered. I knew exactly where they were going with this and their little mind games. "Waaaait it wasn't anything like that! Nathaniel just walked me home so I can calm down but I'll explain that later and when he dropped me off we just sat outside talking and freezing our asses off" I laughed shaking my head. "You was standing outside?! Why?" They both yelled at me. I laughed and sucked my teeth. "Both of my parents were home. You know they don't play with boys" I sighed and stood on the side of my classroom door. "So ya stood outside for how long?" Mariah smirked. And the bell rung interrupting our conversation. "I'll see you young ladies at lunch" I smiled walking into my class while they threatened me all types of ways saying I better tell them. "Bye. Dont be late for class we all know how Mr. Ryan and Mrs. Winslow gives it up" I laughed then took a seat and pulled out my binder. "Casper just the person we were looking for!" Mariah and De'Asia squealed. So I hopped out of my seat and ran out of the classroom seeing my best friends blocking Nathaniel's way. "Lets get to class and let these two get to class before they be late and get detention" I laughed pulling at his Nike sweater. "Whats going on?" He chuckled letting me pull him. "Don't listen to that heffa, she's holding out on us!" De'Asia yelled while I slowly but surely pulled him into the class. I closed the door and they started laughing. "Whats going on?" Nathaniel chuckled as he took his seat. "They think we did something" I laughed shaking my head and sat next to him. "Did something like what?" he smirked. I sucked my teeth and playfully mugged him. "What else?". Nathaniel started laughing. And Mrs. Carlton walked in with books in her hand and the biggest smile ever. "Good morning class!" she cheesed. I laughed and smiled at her. "Mrs. Barlton got a new nigga!" Frankie yelled as the class abrupt into laughter. "You too blood for my liking" I laughed shaking my head. "To the death of me, Mack up or get smacked up!" he bragged. "When he using bloods as protection" Niko snickered as the class oooh'd. Niko and Frankie been having beef since the beginning of freshman year. What makes it funnier is they always end up in the same class, but only fought twice, even though it was two reckless ass fights. They still manage to walk pass each other like nothing ever happened. See I don't have to worry about Emily because she's only brave when her security is around and I still won't be afraid. "Kennedi" Nathaniel called my name. "Yeah?" I looked his way. His tape up was still freshly cut and his curls were tight and glossy as well. Boy had it going on, but I've never looked at him in that way. "You want to come with me after school shopping?" He asked unlocking his phone. "Yeah what are you going shopping for?" I asked copying the work down on the smart board. "The baby. Yasmin and I got into a argument and she threw that I haven't brought my baby shit since I found out Alize was pregnant in my face. So I'm about to prove her wrong and she better not say shit to me after either" he said. But Yasmin isn't even his baby mother to even be complaining about anything Nathaniel's do or don't do for his baby. "Okay and yaaay so I get to help you?" I cheered smiling. "Of course" He smirked and twirled my curly hair. I popped his hand and he laughed then started copying the board as well. I caught myself staring at him a couple of times but it wasn't nothing.
"So spill beans, the tea and don't leave the details out" Mariah said. "Right or we'll corner Casper for the info" De'Asia smirked. We were at lunch sitting at our table. "Um we were just talking about what we want in life and what our plans are for in the future" I shrugged then took a sip of my lemonade. "Really?!" they both yelled at me. I laughed and nodded my head. "What is that too boring for you hoes?!" I laughed at their disappointed faces. "Exactly what that trash ass story is! Boring" Mariah said. "Sorry, but what went on with you and Arin?" I looked at De'Asia and she instantly started smiling. "He cooked for us and then we got drunk" she blushed. "And what else?" I asked wanting to laugh at her. I already knew what his techniques were. Feed her so when they get drunk she won't throw up from drinking on a empty stomach. Arin low key petty and sneaky for that, but then again De'Asia knows what type of boys she likes as long as he don't hurt her. She can date him as long as she wants. "We made out and check this hot shit out" De'Asia bragged sliding her turtle neck sweater down showing off her huge purple and red hickey. "Did he bite you?!" Mariah asked and we started laughing at her uncontrollably. Mariah swears she's a big "freak" and she can't even point out a simple hickey. "No he sucked her neck like if his life depended on it" I laughed at her. "We have to get you a man Riah!" De'Asia snickered. "Right cause you got Arin and Kennedi got Casper" Mariah smirked. "I do not have nobody!" I laughed shaking my head. "So you don't have no type of feelings for Casp? Like he don't make you sing in the shower?" De'Asia smirked. "Do I look like Becky G?" I frowned. "A little" Mariah said as they both clapped hands and laughed at me. "Whatever" I laughed and playfully rolled my eyes at them.
