The school bell rings and I make my way towards class. I pull out my schedule from my mint green jansport backpack and look at my first class today. Ugh, Maths my least favourite.
Once maths was over I walk out trying to remember anything we just learnt. I wasn't even listening or paying attention. What's the point of even going to school, when am I ever going to need to know how to multiply decimals or put together some sort of graph. I walk towards my locker and see Ella at the end of the hall twirling her wavy brown hair inbetween her fingers while talking/flirting with Jake. I need a boyfriend. Jake kisses Ella on the cheek and he walks off in the other direction. What the hell just happened! I shove my books in my locker and slam it shut and sprint as fast as I can over to Ella."What was that? Are you guys dating?" I ask curiously. "Mayyybe" she says biting her lip and looking away. She always seems to do that now. "Omg you are"I squeal. Her face turns a bright red and she runs off.
I forget what just happened and looked at my schedule.My next periods were English and social studies. Maybe I should just have ditched school with Bonnie, I hate school. Anyway I carry on with my day trying to learn but I just can't all that's on my mind right now is how much fun this summer is going to be, The mall, The beach, Late nights, Sleepovers. My thoughts get interrupted by the sound of the lunch bell. I pack up my things and go to my locker once again to put my books away.
I see Bonnie walk around the corner "Bonnie". She turns around and jogs back to me. "Hey" she says in a moody tone. "Hey, how's life" I say with a chuckle. "Horrible, who invented school I want to hunt them down" She says with a smirk. I laugh and we came to the cafeteria area, bought our lunch and sat down at a table waiting for Ella to get here.
Ella had finished buying her lunch and was now tugging Jake along to our table, he clearly did not want to sit with us. they sat opposite Bonnie and I. "Are they dating" Bonnie whispers to me. I nod in silence and carry on eating my food. Life was going pretty well for me, well apart from school everything was just fine. I watch Jake flirt with Ella for the whole of lunch, until the bell rang. "Back to learning yay" Bonnie says sarcastically. I say bye to everyone and tell them to meet me outside after I school to walk home together.
Skip to after school.....
"Hey" Ella says. "Schools over yas" I whisper putting my hand in the air."where's Bonnie?" I question. "She has to finish her art project but she told us we could leave without her" "okie dokie" I say with a high pitched voice.Ella finds that extremely funny and would not stop laughing .We begin to stroll down the footpath." So what are your plans for the rest of the afternoon?"she asks."probably Netflix and chill" I reply. "Ok, wanna hang tommorow" I say walking up my driveway backwards. "Sure text me" she answers. We wave goodbye and I open the door to see everything packed away in boxes. "What's going on?" I ask worrying. "I think you might want to sit down for this" Days says pointing his arms towards the couch. Now I was scared what's going on. Is dad moving out. Is Shawn moving out. What's going on. All these thoughts were getting muddled up in my head. "We're moving" Mom blurts out. I stare at the floor no expression at all. I could tell Mom and Dad were staring at each other with confused looks.
"Honey are you ok" Dad says whilst patting my back. I raise up off my seat and look back and forth at mom and dad. "NO IM NOT OK WITH THIS ,YOU JUST WANT ME TO BE HAPPY" with that I sprinted up into Shawn's room. I feel really good that I let out all that anger on them. They deserve it.
