*Hannah's P.O.V*
I push open the door and see Shawn sitting on his bed strumming softly on his guitar. He slightly glances up at me. His eyes were bloodshot and puffy from crying probably the same as I look. He pats the bed with his hand indicating for me to go and sit down. Shawn was so nice to me I don't know what I would have done with out him. I curl up into his warm arms and feel my eyes get heavier and heavier. "Goodnight Hannah" he says whilst patting the top of my head. I then fell into a deep sleep.
I wake up surrounded by pillows and blankets with something cutting into my neck. I sit up and realise it's a seatbelt. am in a car? I look out the window and my jaw drops as I see a sign that reads Welcome to North Carolina. "Good morning Hannah" My dad says in a delightful tune while looking in the rear vision mirror "What's going on" I say rubbing my sore eyes. "Didn't Shawn tell you we were moving today" Mum says turning around. I look at Shawn, he just shrugs and stares out the window. "I didn't even get to say goodbye to my friends are you crazy you should have woken me up" I say sassily. "Honey you can text your friends and anyway you will make new friends here"Mum said positively. Shawn turns towards me and grabs my hand. "We will get through this together" he whispers. It kind of helped knowing Shawn has my back.
Ding ding
I pull out my phone from my backpack and see it's a text in the group chat from Ella.
Ella: Hey you guys still wanna hang?
Bonnie: Yeah sure what time? Hannah?
Me: I have something very important that I need to tell you guys.
Ella: well what is it?
Me: I moved to North Carolina😖
Bonnie: wait what?
Me: When I got home from school everything was packed in boxes and mum and dad told me we were moving. I thought it was gonna be in like two weeks or something but it was today.
Ella: This is terrible😞
Bonnie: What are we going to do without you Hannah?
Me: Don't worry about me I will face time you guys every night k
Bonnie: 😓😢😭😰
Ella: gtg see you soon Hannah😘

I put my phone away just as we turned up the driveway into our new house. It was massive. We all got out of the car and stretched our arms and legs. Of course I am still wearing the same clothes as yesterday, Yuck. When Dad unlocked the house I sprint up the stairs to find the best room. I walked into the first bedroom I see ew Grey wall Shawn can have have that one. The next one I walked into had Mint green walls with a small balcony. I call dibs on this one it was perfect couldn't ask for better.I lay my backpack onto the hard wood floor and step outside onto the balcony. "Wow" I whisper. The view was amazing. The shimmering blue water from the sea was the first thing I spotted and the sparkling sand. I imagine how much time I'm going to spend at the beach this summer .I was warming up to this place already. I glance over to the neighbours house. Maybe I should go introduce myself. Not looking like this I'm not. I unpack my stuff from the car and put some proper clothes on. I want to look presentable in some way. I put on my dark washed ripped shorts and my tie die crop top. I throw on some white high Nike socks and my black vans. I open my new wardrobe and find a long and tall mirror. I straighten my hair and tie it half up half down. I take a few selfies and apply my mascara and concealer, I don't use much make-up. I think I'm gonna like living here. "Bye mom I'm gonna go introduce myself to the neighbours" I say closing the door behind me. "Wait I'm coming" Shawn said putting his socks on. "Hurry up then" I say moaning.
We wander over to the neighbours house. I do a slight knock on their door. A tall brown haired boy with blue eyes opened the door. "Oh my Gosh SHAWN" he yells. "NASH" Shawn says back. They pull each other into a man hug. "Nash, this is my little sister Hannah" I hug Nash. Man he is attractive."Hannah, this is my friend Nash" Shawn says introducing us to each other. "Wait so you two know each other" I ask curiously."yeah, remember when I used to always go to magcon" Shawn asks. "Yeah Sorta"I reply. "Well Nash is a magcon boy like me" He says."I can't believe we're neighbours now bro" he says pulling Shawn in for another hug.
