Chapter 5~ Heart Beats Fast

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing "hello" I answered "Yes, this is Fruzies Ice cream parlour, just calling to say you've got the job, please be in by 1pm today to start your shift. Thank you" I hung up and took a shower. I opened my laptop and looked online for apartment showings. I had enough to cover the first few weeks of rent. I saw one that caught my eye, it looked nice and perfect for me, I called to get a showing for today. By 10pm I was ready to head out to see the apartment. The elevator was glass, it was a really nice building. I came to apartment 20 on floor 8. I immediately fall in love with the place. "How much is it a week?" I asked "About 400" the realtor answered "I love it, this is it" I said. She handed me papers and the key. Yes, I was beyond excited to call this home. I went back to the hotel and texted Brax; raving about it.

Me: I found an apartment today, it's amazing it's central in the city and the prefect size for me on floor 8, apartment 20!
Brax: Sounds great!
Me: Yeah, I got a job as well, speaking of that I have to go
Brax: Bye, have fun!

I got home and turned on, my fav song right now, she's kinda hot. First day at work was good, friendly people. I had an early start tomorrow, 6am shift, they want me to help out with opening for the day. I look out the window to the city. Just then a tweet alert went off, it was Calum "Can't wait to head back to Sydney tomorrow!" My heart flew out of my chest, maybe with a bit of luck our universes could collide, I still had my note to give them.

I had trouble sleeping last night, my brain won't shut up. I get up and get ready for my shift, I now knew 5sos were back in Sydney; I have to keep my eyes open 24/7 from now on. I aboard the train to work, I like waking up early. The city just seems to be more mysterious and fun at 6am. I clock in for my shift and get ready for a long day. But I had to do this, to keep me alive.

It was 2.45, almost the end of my shift. I finished serving a bunch of teenagers and do some clean up, the store was empty, not many people. I clean the benches. At that moment the bell rang and I got behind the counter ready to serve the customers, I look up and my heart beats a million miles per minute, I stood there staring and shook my head when I realised I was staring a little too long. "Hey, what would you like today boys?" I asked "Well we will all have whatever you thinks good" says Ashton "we're easy to please" laughs Michael. I finished scooping up my favourite and hand them it each, "there you go, Michael, Calum, Luke and Ashton" I said. They were sort of confused, then they realised I must have been a fan. "Would you like a picture?" Asked Ashton "that would be great" I smiled and grabbed my phone and took a selfie with them all "Have a good day" I said. I put my head down and realised that that was it "Hey, are you okay?" Asked Mikey. My head shot up "umm, yeah I guess I'm just okay" they seemed worried "Guys, I think she needs a hug" said Luke. They all embraced me, making me smile. "Hey do you have tickets to tomorrow's show?" Asked Ashton "no" I replied "well, lucky I carry extras at all times" he said and gave me Backstage M&G and tickets "Yall are too nice" I said "Don't mention it" smiled Mikey. That was just the greatest moment of my life. I was internally fangirling. I had to pinch myself to make sure this was reality
