Hermione awoke the next day in her shared room with two of the other servants. She smiled to herself remembering Draco. What he had said, what he had told her and now it was a few hours until she saw him again.

Hermione went about her usual schedule, serve, dust, polish, clean and tutor. Eventually Lady Lily and Lord James caught up with her.

"Hermione!" Lily shouted in the most unroyal like fashion, as she ran down the long corridor, James following.

They eventually stopped in front of her, Lady Lily decided to forget all superiorities and pulled the young girl into a hug.

Hermione was confused, worse things had happened, it was only a scratch.

James took both of her hands. "Hermione we are so tremendously sorry for what happened last night. Lord Lucius Malfoy is an old, cruel, stubborn traditionalists, he hasn't moved on with the times like the rest of us. No man who says that word shall ever be allowed in this house again." He promised.

Hermione smiled. "Thank you Lord James but I wish no trouble over my presence last night."

"Nonsense, and you won't have to worry about Lord Lucius anymore. He won't be coming here again, he's declared war..." Lord James announced.

"War?!" Hermione gaped.

"Yes war. He hurt one of my servants, so I hurt him and now he has declared a civil war. No man nor beast from the land of Slytherin shall ever step foot on Gryffindor land again!" James swore loudly.

Hermione's stomach dropped, Draco.

"War!?" Draco exclaimed, furiously.

"Yes, Draco, war." His father confirmed.

"Do you not think that is a bit extreme, Lucius?" Narcissa asked.

"Of course not, he attacked me!" Lucius spat.

"YOU ATTACKED HIS SERVANT!" Draco exclaimed.

Lucius raised an eyebrow along with furious stare at his son.

Draco gulped.

"I have better things to be doing than battling it out with Gryffindors becuase you assaulted their precious," He bit his lip. "...Mudblood." He internally hit himself, what was he and Hermione to do?

Lucius nodded, satisfied with his sons explanation. "I know you do, most of which is finding yourself a wife. You are nearly sixteen Draco, I married your mother at fourteen, you were born less than a year after. You need to get your act together!"

Draco was rolling his eyes on the inside. 'I do have my act together, and I already have a Lady in mind.'

"Of course, father." He agreed.

"Good, you know the agreement. If you do not find yourself a wife by your sixteenth birthday than I will have to find you one myself." Lucius reminded him.

Draco nodded.

"Now. Lord Zabini, Lord Avery, Lord Nott, Lord Crabbe and Lord Goyle shall be arriving soon to discuss tactics for battle." The older Malfoy announced.

Draco looked at the clock, 5:37. Just over four hours until he was supposed to meet with Hermione. He excused himself and went left, into the dark forests that surrounded Slytherin.
