Today's Shawn's day I realized. Once it actually hit me that we were meeting today I started scrambling. What do I wear, do I tell Hillary, and the thoughts flowed on and on into things that were unanswerable for the day.

"Hill, I'm meeting Shawn today... Just me and him I guess he wants, so can you pleaseee help me out with my outfit. Thanks love yaaa" as I hit send I question if that was the right choice to do, to tell Hillary that I'm meeting Shawn alone, and she can't come but has to help me with my outfit. Yeah, maybe that wasn't the best idea I've had. I'll have to live with it though.

I waited close to twenty minutes as I decided to just throw on a random outfit that was kind of cute until I heard my phone ring from the other room. I ran to it and read a text from Hillary reading, "Hey, I can't believe you hadn't told me, or at least invited me to go with someone or something. But oh well what're you gonna do?? Well wear those jeans that make your butt look really nice, but you don't want to look to much like you're throwing yourself at him so just wear a random shirt of yours with vans that match-STRAIGHTEN OR CURL YOUR HAIR!!!!"

She was right, I should've told her... Or even invited her. I feel really bad but it's okay, I'll bring her next time. So I went into my bedroom grabbing my skinny jeans that Hillary says compliment my legs and butt, and I grab a black skin tight shirt. As I'm putting on my outfit I decide to put studs in my ears that I never put earrings in.

I look into my body mirror and decide that I'm going to straighten my hair like Hill said. Once I was done I threw my black and white vans on, then did my makeup. I was proud.

Since my mom had left a little earlier I chose to clean the house while waiting to surprise her and get on her good side.

Ding. Dong. The doorbell chimed as I just finished up. Excited, I quickly grabbed my phone and made my way towards the door.

I opened it to Shawn's amazing face. He was dressed in a pair of jeans and a nice complimenting shirt.

"Hey Lorde," he started and I could tell he was nervous about what he was going to say, " you look... Gorgeous".

His eyes flickered around my body. "Thank you" I said as my face turned slightly pink.

"Let's go" Shawn said as he cautiously grabbed a hold of my hand.

I smiled at him as butterflies formed in my stomach. I knew this was our first time really out, but I wanted no more than to just be in his presence until the end of time.

Shawn's POV

Her hands were so soft, I was actually amazed. She doesn't know where I'm bringing her but I do, and that's to this beach that has a cave that's perfect to watch sunsets from. I had Aaron set up a table for me right in front of the cave with a small meal each and candles set on the table. I'm hoping this'll be perfect for her.

"Where are you bringing me?" She questioned in a very angelic voice.

As I rapped my bandana around her eyes I smirked and gave her the slightly shy answer of, "You'll have to wait to find out..."

She gave me a look of slight annoyance, then rolled her eyes with a smirk on her face. I kept driving, on my way to a bowling alley to do something while the sunlight lasted. I had plans, great plans actually for when the sun begins to set. But until then I'm bringing her to the bowling alley.

A few minutes into the drive she grabs ahold of my leg and asks me where we are. "I told you! It's a surprise!" I joked as I pulled into the parking lot of the local bowling alley. "We're here now, though" I said as I pulled her face close to mine. I unraveled the bandana of her eyes and gave her a slow, meaningful kiss. I felt the Sparks light in her stomach and that just set some off in mine.
